Adding pictures

I notice many people have pictures which I assume are automatically added at the end of their posts. How do they do that? (This is my first time really being active on a forum like this, and I don't know much about this kind of thing anyway...)

You mean signature pictures? Just go to the User Control Panel section in your profile settings. Then go to the Edit signature Section. There you'll find the signature picture section. So basically you just have to find a picture you like, Copy the URL of that Pic, and then finally paste it in that field and press save signature. I'm still looking around for one I like too. I saw where I can add a signature picture, but it says the maximum size is 500 x 100 pixels and it seems some people have much larger pictures than that. I wondered how they are doing it.

By skipping the signature upload, uploading an image to photobucket and putting the IMG tags into the text box of the signature.

And about the picture, are there any restrictions to what I could use, like a capture directly from a movie? That's what I want to use, but I'm not sure what the policy on this board is on that sort of thing, if there is one.

No worries there. I think porn is the worst. Now I just have to get the picture uploaded somewhere.:)

I uploaded my signature picture and realized it was too big, so I deleted it from photobucket, resized it, then uploaded the smaller one but I still see the big one. Would anyone know why the smaller one isn't showing up instead?:confused:

What you had on here looked fine to me, as far as size goes...I had posted a .gif a while back that was too big, after I changed the size in photobucket it still looked the same as it was on MY screen, but on my BF's screen and my kids' screens it showed as the new smaller size...So, maybe it takes a while to adjust in your own comp...I know that sounds weird, but I can't figure out why it happened...It was showing up smaller for me by the next day, but I had restarted my comp.

Is there anyone who could make me a good signature picture? I already have the picture I want to use, that maybe someone could work on for me? I been trying to do it myself, but it hasn't worked out.
