As a side note to the spaghetti western discussion that raged in the forum about a week ago, there were at least five Man With No Name novels written in the late sixties, early seventies. Two were movie novelizations, three were originals. The novelizations were The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, and For A Few Dollars More (not as good as the films obviously) and the originals were A Coffin Full Of Dollars; The Devil's Dollar Sign; Blood For A Dirty Dollar. Can't remember which original I read but while readable it was unremarkable. All were written by sometimes science fiction scribe Joe Millard. There may have been more (indeed there probably was) but during my white-hot book buying days these were all I came across.:)

I've never really read any western novels. A friend of mine is a pretty die hard fan of them. I'll have to give some a try sometime.

As much of a spaghetti western fan as I am (and I have the script to shoot one of these days), Akira Kurosawa did it all before ;)

Sebastian's site from Tarantino Archives. They just started up about a year ago. Shobary's is still the best.
