Do you ever venture north to Seattle?
Haven't been in years. Last time I was there I saw a traveling exhibit of Modern Masters at the Atrium. It had some of Picasso's last paintings, when he was shovelling the paint on by the bucketfull. Honestly- the paint stood up a full two inches in some places. I TOUCHED ONE OF THEM.

Is cloning an extinct animal, like the Thylacine, morally wrong?
I don't think so. They dug up that mammoth in Russia and were going to clone it but the cells had deteriorated too much, so the point may always be moot. I do not think people should ever be cloned though.

Any recommended reading as of late?
Last thing I read was Doc's book. No, that's not true- I also read a short story Sean has published. They were both great and I can heartily recommend both.

Is Doc Faustus really a doctor?
Yes- he's a Dr. of Awesomology.
Chinese buffet: guilty pleasure or overrated trash?
Definitely a pleasure, but I'm not guilty about anything I do.

After "wasting" four years taking classes I hated, I'm finally getting ready to study something I love:

So right now I'll say Andrei Tarkovsky, who is responsible for some of the most alluring and hypnotic images I've ever seen in front of me.

5. Book that changed your life, and how? Probably quite a few, I think the first was Catcher in the Rye. I was pretty young when I read the book and had always been rebellious, I think it helped set me on a straighter path and helped me realize I could grow into a responsible adult without completely conforming.

How many times a day do smile? 12, once every two hours...seriously, quite a bit. It's my way of staying sane.

Which is better, classic or current action films? Give me some good '70's and '80's action anyday.

How many people here do you think have Halloween set as their birthday? hmmmm, 40? (yeah, I cheated)

Are smiles really contagious? A genuine smile is definitely contagious...I know my 6 year old's is.

Funny AND scary. My parents used to bring me to Ringling Bros. Circus every year and the clowns were my favorite part... On the flipside... Killer Klowns from Outerspace scared the HELL out of me when I was little (yes, ok, I ADMIT it)... And Pennywise gave me nightmares... When I was in high school.

I've never gotten all the way through The Scarlet Letter. And I was supposed to read it both in high school and college. There. I said it.

I'm TERRIBLE at Scrabble. Which is frustrating because I have a relatively decent vocabulary and my friends LOVE challenging me... But for whatever reason, I just have a difficult time unscrambling words... My mind just doesn't work that way. I see scrambled letters... And they mean nothing to me.

4. Favorite alcoholic beverage?

Lately it's been wine... A cool glass of chardonnay... Or strawberry rhubarb from a local fruit winery, Nashoba Valley Winery.

I'd actually rather not kill anyone. I'd kill the one for a thousand if it was Hitler or the singer from Creed or something. And the thousand if they were highly trained goons for some supervillain that I could easily take out to save the person I loved. In other words, if I was killing bad people I'd do both.

I don't NEED anything else.

1. What is your favorite button on the computer keyboard? - I'm very partial to the space bar. Wherewouldwebewithoutit?

2. How many cups of coffee do you drink a day? - Depends on if I'm working or not. Right now I'm working 50+ hr weeks, so I'd say at least 5 or 6 on a work day. I do love the taste of coffee, so my consumption is not solely based on caffeine. I don't drink coffee on my days off, however, so if you take the average it would equal out to roughly 3.85 cups a day.

3. Which is your favorite season? - I was born on the first day of Autumn. I love the season dearly.

4. Which of the HDC smilies best suits you? I rarely use smilies unless I think what I posted might be misconstrued. So probably :p

5. If you could make a machine that could do any ONE function, what would you have it do? - It would magically make beer burn calories and work out my pecs, therefore giving me the physique of an Olympian whilst allowing me to consume my favorite of the beverages in the quantities I deem fit.

1. Home watching movies. If i'm not working i'm usually home.

a] Yes, i did. It had its creepy moments as well as the worst actor i've ever seen (The blond dude)

b] He just isn't a big fan of horror movies, so after a few weeks he found other things to spend his time on. Like music and music forums. He's been making techno music since his teen years. I think he's into something called Ambient at the moment. I don't know, I don't understand it..
Funny thing is we both started out playing the piano when we we're kids.

1) Because we didn't want to be the only brown people in Denmark. More seriously, because my mother fell in love with a Spaniard when she came to France on a trip... go figure.

2) Do you speak perfect Danish?? After half my life here, I would suppose so, though I'm told occasionally that I still have a hint of an accent.

3) About as often as you get laid, smartass.... wait... screwed myself over with this one... :p

4) Tough one, since I'm not really up to date on what's new and cool to listen to... Lately, I've been mainly listening to a lot of David Bowie, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Silversun Pickups.

1) I'm not sure if there's a definite reason. My parents told me that it was the only thing that could keep me still, so I've just always been attracted to it. Also, I've always been someone with a lot of energy and aggression, which football serves as a release for. That's not the whole story, but the gist of it.

2) It gets old sometimes and I'm not a fan of crowds, but I'll go out a couple times that week.

3) No information that only a mod could know. But I assume that whenever there's a discussion concerning the board it comes by me, so maybe, depending on your definition of juicy.

i dont want this to sound insulting to anyone - but i never found him to be funny to anyone other then people who arent funny. his adlib stream of conciousness isnt extraordinary to me - i think its something anyone can do .. so i guess i already think that way .. therefore he just seems average.
(sadly) i've been told by friends and work mates - after some tirade i've done - that i should consider stand-up .. and i think they are crazy - but its just that their brains dont work that way so something they think is wildly crazy/funny - is just ho hum to me. thats exactly how i feel about robin williams. he's ho hum.

3. If you were going to make a documentary, what would it be about?

hmm. theres a good question. probably about human nature VS the internet.
what kind of people post.. why some are miserable/arrogant .. what they get out of it. why do some people need to pretend to be other people.
It's something i think a lot about... given my own philosophy - i'm always amazed at how people are antisocial - yet need that outlet... so I would like to make a documentary largely based on the duality of those types.

Baseball (although i find it kind of boring) Tennis, Squash, Hell I'll play anything - i have good reflexes and atheletic ability despite my shitty knee..so i like doing anything active. unfortunately i cant skate well enough to play hockey (i like floor hockey though) and i suck at basketball .. i can shoot, move with the ball, etc ... but i dont know positioning.
I could play football i guess but there isnt much opportunity once past highschool.
