First Colin Powell publicly endorses Obama, now this... This could possibly be as bad a move as taking a pretty functional retard as your running mate.
And why not start a baseless rumor mill while we're at it (lets see if ths spreads), he chose Palin because he is no longer attracted to his wife, and he secretly wants to bang his daughter. he figured an attractive running mate would distract him.
For the record, i voted for this guy when bush and gore were at each other's throats.

The funny thing is, Obama's court isnt too concerned apparently, or they wouldnt have said anythign in the first place, but McCain needs to wrangle every electoral vote he can get his hands on.
the best part is that he screwed up his recovery too. :D

You're right. With recent events such as Powells and other republican delegates switching over being "Obamicans," the democratic party and campaign isn't too pressed about McCain's sudden dirty tactics. Now of course it's only natural for campaigns to get nasty towards the end, but I think I've seen the most questioning of character out of the man who built is campaign on supposed "patriotism." I mean I respect McCain for joining the armed forces. THough it wasn't like he was the brightest crayon in the box because he graduated from the Naval Academy in the bottom 5 of the class. Aside from that, he was a pow in Vietnam--not a war hero as John Kerry was. Kerry actually has the purple hearts to prove it; although he didn't really " woo" me away from other democratic presidential hopefuls in 2004.
Anyway, I was watching lots of CSPAN, MSNBC, and a lot of other political tv sources and it appears as if the McCain campaign prefers to ignore the pledge support from Powell, in hopes to make him seem fearless; a representative from his campaign has even stressed Powell's support is just motivation for the Obama campaign; they argue that he is not going to be a substantial factor, for he is not campaigning alongside Obama for traditional red states--he simply endorses him. Whether this is a sly way of the republicans to cover up from what I really think they feel--with it only being 2 weeks until the election expect things to get even nastier guys...we've already witnessed the propoganda of Obama being accused as a terrorist/terrorist ally, and a Muslim. Who knows what else, McCain will go after.

McCain's an idiot, and people are starting to realize that. And who wants another idiot leader after our last 8 years?

Really? I know PA for a long time was dubbed "Clinton Country" but being that the party is united and no longer tearing each other limb from limb I could see why there are so many Obama posters. But in rural PA I thought that would be elephant and not donkey zone. PA has a lot of electoral votes up for grabs--thus the need for pressure. But if PA's gonna' stay blue for awhile--that's great for Obama and my fellow demorats on hdc.

Well I live in Pittsburgh, so it's not rural where I am...that's probably what makes the difference.

We're in St. Marys.....and its about even, I see signs for both everywhere we go. In fact, I wished I had my camera with me the other day, because there is this tiny duplex in town, tiny yard....on one side is an Obama sign, the other, a McCain sign.

I never paid attention to politics or this election but staying with my bro this past weekend opened my eyes. Just watching comedy shows and finding out the truth. I found out Palin was getting paid "Per Diem" which I found out is like thousands of dollars for her "traveling expenses" and she just had to travel like an hour away.
Also she takes her daughters with her and the cost of them staying at the hotels was in the thousands. I can't explain what it was but the government A.K.A the people pay for it. Also found out she spent 150,000 in 2 months on clothes. Wow, you'd think wanting to be V.P you actually care about the people and would use the money to help those in need. I don't know politics but I DO know Palin is a cunt. It's also funny how she is against gay marriage yet the bitch has 5 kids and HER kid is having a kid. Some would say that isn't important but come on...

Both Biden and Palin (and Obama/McCain) are against "gay marriage" (both said so and agreed with each other during the VP debate) but think that couples of the same sex should share the same rights as married couples. Also, Obama's mama wasn't that old when she had him...
I'm not going to get into the politics discussion but you should at least know those things.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
I can't get over this footage... He's so... Incredibly... senile.
What's horrifying is that if he DOES get elected and DIES, Palin will be president... Which... Is... Just... horrifying.

Here is an interesting question... Is she any dumber than bush? Could she screw things up more?
I think the scariest part would be that a Gena Davis failed TV show would have been prophetic...

I actually think that Palin is a bit smarter than Bush, though it's honestly not impressive a feat.
And I think I'd prefer Gina Davis.

Very true. Politics is such a difficult thing to discuss, because it's not something that people usually change their mind on.
Oh and, good to see the old Sig back. What was it, a botfly or something?

Yeh. America doesn't care about you, but our government licks the American one's arse, and I've got a feeling if she suggested something that was too far and we disagreed with her, she wouldn't take it too kindly. And what she sould do against Russia is scary considering I live near a major US Base in England and it is one of the greatest targets.

It's a great topic but people already have their mind made up at this point. I would say that nobody would read a paragraph about a candidate and suddenly have an epiphany that changes their political viewpoint around. Oh, and thanks, yeah it's botfly larva being removed. Yum! :)
