The subway was closed today when I got out of work, they were waiting on the fire brigade, that's all I know. I waited 40 minutes for a bus. I bought some fish fingers while I waited.

Well I didn't eat them, I ended up making pizza...
By the time I got home my taste had changed. So had the time of day, and all of a sudden finishing early didn't mean shit. I still can't find out what went wrong with the underground.
They are in a cyogenic chamber, waiting for another day.

The pizza was amazing, I hand made the base, tomato paste then motza and canadian cheder, toped with smoked haddock, tomato, mushrooms, onions, olives, jalepenoes, buffalo mtza, oregano and cracked pepper humus.
So tasty, It was hard to leave piece for my girlfriend for breakfast, now I'm thinking about it again damn it!

I tried a few pizzas in Glasgow, they were terrible, so making my own is my only option...
The ones in Glasgow weren't as bad as London though..
I miss Plush pizza, the vegie/vegan pizza store down the road from my last flat back in Australia, they made the most amazing pizzas I have ever eaten..
ahhh... We use to get pizza there every Monday night... They had some unbelievable combinations.
Check it out for your self.

ah, disease. i forgot you're constantly making your own meals, all of which sound far better than anything i've ever eaten in my life.
speaking of great pizza (and by the way, "plush pizza" sounds wonderful), there's a place in chicago called lou malnati's that makes absolutely the best pizza i've ever had:

It seems like a pretty basic menu, but they must have great basses and sauce, that is the best part about Plush, the base is perfect and they make the most delicious sauces.. then all the toppings.
the roast vegetable toppings are perfect..
Now I see Plush has a tom Yum Pizza, it just makes me wish I was back in my old flat.....

Seeing as you're in Scotland, have you had a deep fried pizza? Supposedly they're pretty good.

I don't eat any deep fried food in Glasgow, Since I'm vegetarian, but who knows maybe one drunken night I might dip in to the deep fried pizza.

Yeh its not really a widely used term is it? I was the same for awhile but stopped eating meat completely.

I LOVE that you use the term "pescatarian." When I was a pescatarian I just used the term "vegetarian" because it was easier... You know, for the general public to understand.

The term vegetarian doesn't really fit tho. Fish is still meat.

Ever since you explained to me what a pescatarian is about a year ago, it became one of my favourite words. I use it so much in arguments with people who say things like.
Them: I'm a vegetarian so...I'll have the tuna sandwich.
Me: I thought you were vegetarian.
Them: I am.
Me: But you're eating fish?
Them: Oh, no. It's Vegans that don't eat fish.
Me: But fish is an animal. It has a face, it has flesh. It's meat.
Them: No. Fish isn't meat.
GRRRR. I hate these morons!

Yeh dude its pretty dumb. It's like people who are vegetarians that eat chicken.
"You're not a vegetarian you just don't eat red meat".
It's fucked the amount of shit with meat in it Rennent in cheese, Gelatine in a bunch of shit. Fish byproducts in wine...
Slowly working all animal products out of my diet but I don't think I'll even be fully vegan.

Bah, it's plenty right, if we let every animal free and every animal live there would be population problems. Here in MI they have to actually pay people to kill off extra deer because due to population they were starving and dieing out. I guess I just can't see what's wrong with killing animals...

One of the reasons was just the waste. Killing off heaps of animals that just get thrown out into the dumpster was stupid to me.
But each to their own I don't care what other people eat :)

You can get plenty of cheese without animal rennet, you just have to look around, vegan cheese on the other hand just has no flavor most of the time.
And Gelatine, it's very hard to find lollies that don't have them, sometimes, I just choose not to read the packaging when I buy them..

Yeh I usually buy the cheese with the vegetarian rennet in it. I managed to find a few cheaper brands of lollies that don't have Gelitine in them. I keep an eye on the packaging until I'm eating out (pizza n' stuff like that).
Haven't tried vegan cheese before just because of how expensive it is.
