I was dl'ing season 2 as it came out in the states...stopped all of a sudden, the last episode airing on the 18th of last month was the last one I saw.

I can find no news of the show being cancelled.
But, http://epguides.com/BurnNotice/ this doesn't have a date for the next one, so what's up with that?

Anyone?

No not cancelled, the summer season is just over, the season finale aired last month...it will be back, along with Psych and Monk, sometime in January, I think.

I've never actually watched a whole episode of Burn Notice, but may be considering to get into eventually. I was impressed by all the promos before its last premiere aired. I know this is out of nowhere, but my airtime Burn Notice and Dr. Steve-O would always switch interchangably. Did this show get cancelled? Because I loved it.

Fuck
I hate this whole mid-season break crap...when did they start doing that?
As far as I knew, throughout the year shows USED TO show in their entirety...

While I was watching Wings, I saw a commercial that says all new Burn Notice coming in winter.

USA is the only channel I watch regularly that breaks up the season in this way. But they have been doing it for awhile. Its actually kind of nice, I think because then, while most other shows are off for the summer, there is still something to watch.....;) Plus, they air less episodes (notice shows on FX, USA, HBO, Showtime, or HBO typically air about 6 less episodes, sometimes 10 less episodes, then shows that air on ABC, NBC, etc.....its why some shows seem to have so much "filler" compared to others) so it is just their way of spreading it out throughout the year, I think.

So it just depends on the channel and the show.
