Anyone ever do anythinglike this?

My Fiance is a double major in criminal justice/psychology. Needless to say, she is very interested in serial killers. She has to do a project (it's her last semester of her senior year), and she is thinking of finding out if she can have some sort of correspondance with Edmund Kemper.

for anyone not familiar with him, he is a great big guy from california that killed a bunch of college students, his mother and her freind back in the 70s. he also raped his mother's corpse.

Now, iknow there was a guy a few years back that did the same thing with John Wayne Gacy and acouple of others (Gacy tried to get personal info from him after he found out he was a young man, Gacy's chosen victims) I was wondering if anyone else has ever considered/done this before. I'm a little uneasy about it. My fiance is a very pretty college student (Ted Bundy would have loved her, she is a brunette), but considering she may be catching people like this someday, I dont feel i have a right to stand in the way. I dont even think it is a bad idea.

Although she had mentioned wanting to meet him, and that freaks me out.

So, did she meet Edmund Kemper?

No, although he was central in her final big project. she did a 30 minute report on serial killers and the various types. There was an article she found that compared various serial killers to monsters (Vampires, werewolfs, ghouls) and focused on that aspect, as well as getting into what they think makes them act the way they do. it was awesome, and i have been trying for almost 3 years now to get her to let me post it on my site.
