I run a horror movie review site...and heard a rumor that Tobe Hooper...of Texas Chainsaw fame...is going to be directing the next installments into the RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD films.
If anyone has any information let me know...been getting alot of requests on this matter through my site.

Well, check out the articles on this page (horror.com). The one that says Hooper to drop 4 by '04.

I THINK one of them is meant to be filmed in the dead nuclear zones in Chernobyl?
That could make for some good atmosphere...although I apologise if I have this confused with different zombie movie?

The original Return of the Living Dead is one of my all time favorite films. 2 and 3 are also good but not near as good as the original. I have the feeling that if Tobe Hooper does 4 especially now in the year 2005 it will rival part 1.

There is some news on this. Centers on a group teenagers who, in an attempt to rescue their friend from an evil corporation, end up releasing a horde of blood thirsty zombies.

I checked into it and Tobe Hooper doesn't have anything to do with part 4: Necropolis, or part 5: Rave from the Grave.
p.s. I hate George W. Bush

A little off topic, but since we're talkin' Tobe Hooper...did anyone see his early 80's film "The funhouse"...I was stoned and drifting in and out of sleep when I saw it a few months back, but from what I saw it was pretty good, very fucking weird, but pretty good all the same...
I guess I should attempt to watch it again sometime.
