Just wondering what the gameplan is for your next year?
Nothing like NY resolutions - just wherever it looks like reality will take you.
So here's mine...
A while back as some of you might remember, I got pretty into the cooking thing to the point I actually enrolled in chef studies. Due to a couple of things, an unsupportive job and a few debt-related issues, I got a little pissed off and dropped it. Still cooked and all, just decided not to take the studies any further.
Thing is, I was good at it and I've realised that even if only for personal interest I should go back and complete it.
This time I guess I'll only be applying for jobs that actually entail a lot of cooking - if they want a dishwasher/stock guy they can hire one...need to be learning and that's what I'm going with (spare the chime-ins about starting from the bottom...because that's what I'm doing, just not becoming the "spare") this time.
So I'm redoing everything that I didn't get a distinction in last time (I got about 9 as I recall) just to see if I can better my score, not to mention it's fun for me.
Other than all that...just working my way towards debt freedom, and hitting up the gym to trim myself a little more into shape - which having done the cooking thing before, lets me know this is something I'll need.
Funny how working a year in a REALLY crappy job with no chance of progression can change things for you, hm?
Also going to put together my first hydroponics and my girls first airponics bay.
May be having my younger brother live with me for 6 months someplace in '09.
So, plans?
