A new take on the "horror story," The Dionaea House tells its tale through a series of emails, online "news stories" and an online journal.

It's clever and honestly creepy and I make sure to read it around Halloween every year.

Enjoy.

And if you have any other creepy story sites that you'd like to share, please do. I'd love to find more like this.

We are, but only if we're still allowed to barb each other about.

Nudge nudge wink wink know what I mean?

No we can't!

We aren't allowed to joke about things either.

LOL

Unfortunately I'm not that creative. Nor do I have the minimal interweb skills to design my own website.

If I DID, though, I'd totally own it, be up front, and completely admit to being a thread whore.

In this case, I am not.

Die in a fire.

Just read it and I have to say I was very impressed. I would have liked to find out more but I suppose to keep it realistic they couldn't do that. Really good, thanks for recommending it.

Oh, interesting. I knew that the movie was in the works (had found its entry on IMDB (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0490113/)), but I actually didn't know that the website was designed specifically to be a massive teaser for it.

That's a pretty damn good teaser.

And it almost WORKED, too! If it weren't for you darn meddling kids...

This was really cool. Thanks, Chrono. :)

It's similar to the book, House of Leaves. A story about another creepy/deadly house told through journal entries and letters from several people. Makes you feel like you found a bunch of papers and you're slowly unveiling this mystery. Seriously scary book though.

*bumps*

A companion piece to the video thread...

A Halloween-y tale.

And, seriously... Anyone else have scary stories to share? I'm always looking for something good...
