Yeah so... I've been hunting these past few days with my buddy. No turkeys around so we got annoyed and yesterday we had just had enough, no ammount of calling or decoys could get any birds near us. We switched hunting spots and saw nothing but a few squirrels.... infact there was 1 that wouldn't stop barking at us(we call it barking), so my buddy loses his temper, turns and aims at this squirrel up in the tree and BLAM! Down comes the squirrel. SO we gut him and skin him (and yes it was a him), threw on some garlic powder and salt and pepper, then grilled him up. And no lie, it tasted just like grilled chicken. So now... I have this insatiable hunger for fuzzy forest creatures...yeah not really. BUT i will eat squirrel again. If you get a chance to, try it, seriously.

They're definitely cute. The other day outside there was bunny on the lawn. Then, a squirrel came down from a tree, and the bunny saw it and apparently thought it was another bunny and started chasing it. It was so cute and funny watching the terrified squirrel fleeing from a curious little rabbit. But, there is something profoundly strange and unwholesome about squirrels. I think it's their tiny hands and that they should be called Pygmy Acorn Monkeys, regardless of their actual classification.

I have to say I have no objection to eating them but I'd never kill an animal for sport. But if it's dead, might as well make it's death for something and feed yourself.

BUT FUCK YOUR GREY SQUIRREL BITCHES!

Sorry. But to be honest I hate grey squirrels. Thanks to the little wankers being brought in to England and breeding like mad, our native red squirrels are nearly extinct. Seriously, I know only one person that's ever seen a red squirrel now. The grey ones steal their nests and food.

Hilarious...They're too adorable to eat. I was making fun of one, one day when I was walking along this path. It was stretched out flat like a Pancake. I didn't think it was dead or anything because its tail was still bushy and pointed upright. So I taunted it. I said: "Squirel if you don't get your little furry ass out of my way...." but as I kept walking, I realized why i was lying there like that. It really was dead. I guess it was stuffing nuts in its mouth when a car came by and knocked the wind out of him/her enough to die. Poor furry pal. :(

Squirrels are the Mascot for my College. They are cute and agile...but wimpy at the same time...I take it that's why we're suppose to call them "Fighting Squirrels;" but oh, the irony in that.

Squirrel is actually a good meat. It's often thrown into the 'southern backwoods' culinary category with opossum and groundhog.

The only thing is you need a few of them to make a good meal, or 'a whole mess of squirrel' if you will. If you cook it right, it's delicious.

your welcome. i know you english brought us such wonders as pigeons and smallpox, so right back at you.

Just feel lucky nothing from Australia has come back. between sheep and rabbits the english damn near decimated large portions of that country (mice too). imagine if something like funnelwebs or bulldog ants decided england was a nice place to live. you would be begging for grey squirrels.

for the record, i like squirrels and have no interest in eating any kind of rodent.

Yeah he is exactly right. There isn't much meat on them at all.

Next time i'm gonna try it with some barbque sauce... hmmmm that sounds nice....

on a side note, I have been having weird cravings for it ever since i first ate it.

And I'm not annoyed at the grey squirrels being here, I'm annoyed at the fact that them being here is killing off our native squirrels. Apparently it's from a disease that they carry but only affects the red ones.

Yeah, me neither. They look strange.

Anyway, one of my co-workers living in country and is a big hunter and eats squirrel all the time. He likes it, but it tends to be on the gamey side. Personally, I don't think I could eat squirrel unless I was starving.

I'll call the grey ones whatever I like. And I was referring to them being young students who act as servants (Fagging) to older students.

And the only time there aren't rules is when the one who breaks them thinks they'll lose if common rules (I.E - No kicking of the groin) are in place.

You sir, have not the first idea how to fight. You see, people like you, who think that there are rules in a fight, don't know how to fight, so they try to protect themselves with said rules. But I pose this question upon you young sir, do you appoint a referee in a street fight?

No, it's just where I come from in typical fights if somebody kicks someone in the balls or it becomes 2 on 1 then people step in and get pissed off. Obviously in big serious fights, these rules don't apply. And if a guy was coming at me with a baseball bat I wouldn't hesitate to kick him in his dangly bits.

grey Squirrels are american, and their influence in the American Revolution lead to the rebels using guerilla tactics, kicking the british firmly in the pants. It worked for them on their own soil 200 years ago, and you want them to change to silly english "Standing in tight squirrel formations and lobbing aconrs back and forth" garbage now?!

Let us not forget that while the British red squirrels picked their acorns out of a pile and used different ones all the time, the American grey squirrel used their own acorns and were therefore more familiar and more accurate.

Yeh, through numbers! You put 100 red and 100 grey against each other and the reds would win. Better training you see, because there's less of them to train. But our reds wouldn't do that. They worry about the economy and important things instead of picking fights. The only reason the reds are fighting is because the ex leader of them was scared of the retarded grey leader. But let's just hope those greys put the black squirrel in charge. Then things should get better.
