Okay, as I'm sure you all know (through my boasting), I spent the last week in Egypt's Red Sea. It was great. Unlike any other holiday.

-We lived on a boat the entire week.
-We did Four Scuba Dives a Day.
-I only knew about 5 of the people on there to begin with
-All of our meals were home made Egyptian meals
-The Wildlife and visibility under the water were stunning.

Me and my Dad took a camera each under the water and used up about 4 films, as well as a digital camera for the surface. Our underwaters haven't been developed yet but I'll post a few of the surface ones now. The Underwaters will be ready soon!

Cool stuff...

I'm seriously thinking of taking lessons - my GF has her Advanced Open water and i'd love to try it...

Yeh, I'm junior advanced open water. As soon as I hit 15 I immediately lose the junior. It's great, like nothing else in the world, being able to explose this unique, almost alien like world.

Oh, and the pictures will be up soon, Photobucket is being a bitch.

The First reef we came to on a small sand island.

This is from our second from last day. We came back to hurghada in the evening and me and my dad went around buying souvenirs.

My in the evening in Hurghada.

http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p255/ferretchucker/S5030980.jpg

This was our last day. We spent the night before on the moored up boat, then in the morning we moved all of our stuff to the marriot hotel where we had two rooms between us. This is just a few of the divers and I eating lunch by the pool.

http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p255/ferretchucker/S5030995.jpg

On the boat they had some merchandise such as T-Shirts and Dive Log Books. I got a T-shirt, which was personallised. Here's the sleeve.

http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p255/ferretchucker/S5030997.jpg

And the chest.

Well, the photos are in. Due to our cameras being quite old and mine not working too well under pressure "Do dodododo, do do do do dodododo", many aren't that clear, but there are a good few interesting ones. Such as

- A lionfish
- A clownfish playing in an anenome
- A blue spotted stingray
- A feathertail Stingray
- A Moray Eel
- Me next to a huge propellor

And more. I'll post them tonight when I get back in, (I'm going out in a minute).

Here they are people. Photos from my trip to the red sea taken underwater.

-Note: As some of you may know, colours fade the futher you go down, starting with red, so they may look a bit dull.

Lionfish:

There were lots of these guys on the night dives, almost to the point where you wanted them to move so you could see something new!

http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p255/ferretchucker/imm002_1.jpg

http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p255/ferretchucker/imm023_22.jpg

Flutefish:

There are quite a lot of these around. They follow divers as a way of hiding while they hunt. You never see your own flutefish, just everyone elses!

http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p255/ferretchucker/imm016_15.jpg

Me:

I'm standing on the Salem Express, a huge wreck!

http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p255/ferretchucker/imm006_6.jpg

Clownfish:

These guys always played in their anenomes!

http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p255/ferretchucker/imm018_18.jpg

I have to go now but I'll post more tomorrow.

Some more!

Large Propellor on the Salem Express:

This thing was huge!

http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p255/ferretchucker/imm012_11.jpg

Crocodilefish:

I think...Anyway, he just laid there and looked menacing!

http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p255/ferretchucker/imm025_24.jpg

Moray Eel:

He was sleeping but I woke him up. He wasn't too happy...

http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p255/ferretchucker/imm012_12.jpg

Pufferfish:

He was swimming around near us, just waiting for a chance to blow up.

http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p255/ferretchucker/imm022_22.jpg

Thorny Sea Cucumber:

A strange creature. It just lay on the bottom, moving around the speed of a slug. Quite big though.

Well, I've been down to between 15m and 20m in tenerife and madeira before but the deepest I've ever been was this holiday, 27m. (Sorry for the metric system guys but thats just the way diving works. 20m is roughly 60 feet if you didn't know)

The guy with dreads was a university student named Tom and the guy next to him is his dad. The guy opposite Tom is my dad.

P.S Ewwwwwwwwwww.:p
