Post em' here... and let us know why you like em'. I'll start with a couple.

The Bishop's Wife
This movie is one of my all time favorites and the trailer is a quirky little gem.

Here's the master at work. It's long by modern standards but it's a joy to see somebody who really knew what he was doing.

These are my current favorites. I keep rewatching them. They just give me chills (in a good way) when I watch them, I'm rather excited to see both of these movies when they finally open. They just seem like really dark, interesting, and unique movies:

Watchmen

Just hilarious. I love the "In the tradition of Friday the 13th, Part 2 and Oklahoma..."

Joe Dante has a site called TRAILERS FROM HELL on which he posts old trailers and has directors like Landis, Edgar Wright and others comment on them

http://www.trailersfromhell.com/index.php

you can watch the trailers with or without commentary. Good times.

@ Despare...I think more trailers should be like The Bishop's Wife. Most today give away WAY too much.

@Rod....now I want to see Rolling Thunder. I'm pretty sure I've seen it before...a loooooong time ago. Cool site

Joe Dante is a true movie nerd. Decades ago I had the immense fortune of seeing his legendary MOVIE ORGY in its original 7 hour version at the University of Nebraska. I think he was in attendance but nobody knew who he was back then. I laughed so hard i actually was rolling on the floor.

The Cloverfield one that was released ages ago where it didn't even name the film. It got sooo many people interested.
