i listen to everything - if it's good.
i like old school ... trip hop..
i dont like most rap - thats for sure ... commercial rap hasnt taken any forward strides for 10 years .. easily the most stagnant form of music ever.
i hear there's a lot of better independant - or underground stuff though

celine is fair game ..
the way the belgians feel about Jean Claude Van Damme is the way canadians feel about celine
no one can stand her here.... she's an embarrasement.
(it's the americans who love her :p)

American TV Anchor: But, Mr. Minister, it isn't like this film is the first troublesome thing to come out of Canada. Let us not forget Bryan Adams.
Canadian Film Minister: Now, now, the Canadian Government has apologized for Bryan Adams on several occasions!

surely not :D
its funny - i always mention the both of them in the same breath ...
both from Canada - but both have this universal appeal (blandness)
most Canadian bands don't forget where they come from - there's a lot of Canadiana in the lyrics ... but not Celine and Bryan - they belong to the world ..
(but in all fairness - Adams is far more listenable than Dion)

i think there is some UN resolution preventing this, the combined blandness would open a black hole in the earth's crust and suck all our intelligence and taste away....
...but at least then we could watch gladiators in our underwear at the local trailer park.
