This is my first time writing a horror fiction; so its prob not that good but yeah, this is only the start of it.
I will add more to it later, and it's not really scary or anything atm because its just the beginning ;p
Pure evil
Chapter 1.
Birthday Party
Pure was no ordinary child. She knew that from the very start. But it was only when she turned 4 years old that she realised her real capabilities she could remember every single little moment it was like she had photographic memory.
It was a Sunday morning the next door neighbours were at it again, arguing over some matter that seemed to always end up with one of them walking outside to their car and driving off in a hurry leaving burnt out tire marks on the concrete.
Pure would usually be looking out the window at this time and then she’d see her mother rush into the room and close the blinds. It’s not like she could protect pure from the world it would come to find her anyway.
And then the birthday party arrived. Pure was never much for parties, she didn’t really see the point. And it’s not like she knew anyone that could come to her party anyway, she was more of an outsider. That’s the way she liked it.
But her mother wouldn’t have any of that. “It’s going to be fun” She’d say, trying to be all enthusiastic. Even though she could tell that i didn’t really care, I think it scared her that i was more mature than a lot of 4 years olds.
All I can really remember after that is flames. They came out of nowhere.
They engulfed my mother burned her alive. I remember when I saw all the people rush in from our neighbourhood. They heard screaming and wanted to see if everything was okay. And then they saw her. They saw my mother lying on the ground. Her whole body was black. And it was obvious that she was no longer breathing. But that didn’t stop Darla, she was proberly the only normal person in the neighbourhood, I didn’t know much about her, but she didn’t seem like the rest. She rushed to my mother’s body trying to revive her. But everyone around her knew that it was too late.
That’s when they turned to me.
I could hear the neighbours whispering to themselves. Ever since i could remember i could hear thing's
other's couldn't it was like i was different. And this time being different was a bonus, because i could
make out what they were saying.
‘We knew this would happen sooner or later, we can’t leave her here, she doesn’t know her own strength’
That’s when I had the flashback. The flashback of how the flames were created.
I saw myself and then I saw my mother she was trying to force me to attend the party.
But I didn’t want to go. She grabbed me by the arm and pulled me out of my room. That’s when the power I didn’t even knows I had, triggered.
I created the flames from my hands and threw them at my mother.
she didn’t seem surprised that I had powers. And for some reason I didn’t even seem to care that
my mother was engulfed in flames, I actually seemed relieved.
I watched as her skin turned to black. It was such an adrenalin rush I felt so
powerful, I knew it was over when she stopped screaming she just lay there on the
ground. Not moving at all. And I just stood there with a smile on my face. But I
couldn’t let anyone else know about my power’s the last person who admitted that
they had power’s was branded a witch and was burnt at the stake.
I wasn’t going to let that happen to me.
One of the ladies’s picked me up; I think they were scared that I was going to be
scarred for life or something. They didn’t even know that I had caused all this and
they were never going to find out.
I stayed at my aunt’s for a week and then they had my mother’s funeral oh that was
something you had to see to believe. They played some sad music. Then people got up
and spoke about her, they wouldn’t let me say anything, they said I was too young to
understand oh if they only knew how wrong they were.
By the end of the funeral everyone was crying, that’s when I snuck away from the
group. I stood in front of my mother’s newly formed grave I started having flashbacks
of what I had done and what had happened before everything began, that’s when the
my mother’s grave set alight. I had never seen a newly formed grave on fire before.
That’s when I realised I wasn’t meant for good, I was meant for evil.
I will add more to it later, and it's not really scary or anything atm because its just the beginning ;p
