very nice

just hope Neil Young doesn't try to get all artsy.

saw him a couple of years ago for the first time.......and he came out and played ALL of his GREENDALE album.....he did throw us three of his hits at the end...so it wasn't too bad.

in his case - and only his case - i'm not terribly interested in seeing him do his hits - i'm open to just hear him do anythiing ..

now ACDC on the otherhand - if i dont get to experience Thunderstruck live - i'll be disappointed for sure

Cool as heck, Urge!

Although I am not too keen about Neil Young either. He did a performance around these parts a couple years back and was the only one who was a real asshole to anyone who asked for his autograph and pic afterwards.

AC/DC are awesome. I even got their autographs on my record!

meeting ACDC would be a blast - but meeting any of these acts wouldnt be possible around here...

gotta cut poor neil some slack though - he's not very keen on comercialism and i could see why that would be something he would be against.

i think fo rthat guy - its 100% about the music.

Yeah, for a popular star, he stays pretty reserved and off-camera.

I knew that he was a producer, does that count? :p

I would love to see Neil Young, and AC/DC.....my parent saw AC/DC awhile ago, they were playing two shows in Atlanta and they bought tickets for the first show. Were so impressed, they immediately went about trying to secure tickets for the show the next night. Apparently it was a hell of a show.

Solid dude! Hope AC/DC bust out some tunes that to stop you talking shit about being old.

Neil Young being to artsy? Fuck that. Gimme the Dead Man soundtrack or Sleeps With Angels over Harvest/Rust Never Sleeps any day. His music will never tire or die because of it's diversity, honesty and integrity. There's WAY more to Neil Young than that greatest hits shtik*

too bad his music sucks :p

Sorry, but to meNeil young makes boring music in a horrificly screechy voice.

Dont get me wrong, I used to like guns n roses (and they dont get any screechier than axel rose). Granted, i was 12, but i did.

They wouldn't be playing right if you didn't leave feeling like that :)

Greendale is a killer album. Grandpa's Interview is an amazing song. He mainly pulls out tunes like Hurricane when he tours with Crazy Horse.

I went to ACDC during their thunderstruck tour. My ears rang for two days - it was great. I have tickets for GWAR and Metallica - they'll be here in the next couple of months. Disturbed is doing a concert the day before Metallica - I may have to quit my job to get the days off.

GWAR and Metallica would be great shows. How come you'll have to quit your job? Can't you ring in sick?

Entirely possible.

Last time I saw them (seen them 3 times!) I had a hard time sleeping because the ringing in my ears was actually keeping me awake.

Thunderstruck is awesome live, but For Those About to Rock (with the flashpots and the cannons) feels quite literallty like a punch in the gut.

Have fun!

Do they play much off Powerage these days? Sin City and Kicked In The Teeth are epic! Can't fuck with Downpayment Blues either.
