I can't believe I'm the only one who was stoked for this DVD.
It's excellent, BTW.

Not going to lie - I always thought this sounded pretty lame. Is it actually worth watching?

It's total 80's T.V....a little cheesy, but still good, IMO.

it was interesting. Hell of a way to bank on the title though, it has NOTHING to do with the movies.

I saw a few, but th eonly one i remember was a homely high-school girl gets a compact that causes men to fall insanely in love with her if she looks at their reflection in the mirror.

Has a kill that is on eof my favorites to date, when she slams the guy's head down on the running table saw. Brutal :D

is the violence toned down because its a TV show?

It was on CBS, but for the 80's it was pretty raw.
Nothing like T.V. today, obviously.

It was on TV just recently, a marathon.
Forget what channel, maybe sci-fi?
I loved that show.

I like what I have seen of it, but I have only seen a few episodes here and there (maybe more than that, but I didn't remember it being on for three seasons).
They show it on the Chiller channel I think

All I remember was wondering "where's Jason", ha.
There was also some other "friday 13th" film called "the orphan" as well with nothing to do with the Jason universe - was this something to do with the series?
I watched a few though, cannot remember much about it, just that it was the only half decent thing to watch at the time of night they showed it.

I'll have to get my hands on a copy of this. I remember watching the pilot as a kid but missed most of the series.

OH...You're not!...I just saw this thread

This is kinda funny because I was searching a few weeks ago for Friday the 13th series episodes, and I ended up finding out about the Supernatural series instead...Now I'm hooked on it, it's THE most awesome series EVER

I never did manage to find any Friday the 13th episodes though, so this is PERFECT!

I'll be buying them all :)

Now we just need them to bring Monsters, Tales From The Darkside and Freddy's Nightmares to DVD

The girl with the cursed compact....that was my favourite episode! My boyfriend and I definitely want to add the show to our collection. It was cheesy but that was part of its charm.
