Does anyone know of a product that is non-toxic to pets and humans, but keeps the spiders away? I end up with a lot of spider webs on my deck. I sweep them away, but they're back within a day or two. They are industrious little bastards.

Pyrethrin.
Natural plant stuff.
Spiders dont like it much, and will keep away even though the product is intended more for other insects. That said, NO small creature seems to come around too much if a coating of this stuff is sprayed down on the weekly.
In any event even if the spider didn't have a problem with it, the food source for the creature would no longer hang around anyways resulting in less spider action.
The product is cheap, natural, non-toxic (it doesn't even kill the bugs) and not too strongly scented.
I'd reccomend it, use it on all my plants.
Just spray down the deck once a week. Initially you might want to get the underside too is space allows.
