A friend ordered and received it earlier today. I've been looking at trading up from my element based model (which ends up burning and wasting it) for ages now. So, I went with the "extreme" model. Not quite up there with the volcano as originally intended but I could afford this one a tad quicker, so with the wanting to ditch smoking for some time now on account of being an otherwise nonsmoker and the supposed amount of bullshit you cut out, I went with sooner.
Seems to be one of the better quality ones. Linkage to video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JY5QGa-WjIY
I've seem claims about getting 2 bags per "bowl" (I assume thats states terminology, I hope it is), and having tried a cheaper heating element style vapo which was a shit to use on and fucking off and on again to first realise that vaporization had not only great health, but also great high potential what a fucking sweet day that was)
looking forward for something more simple to use, and purpose built.

*** Anyways, also had questions so yeah, what field should I set the temp between? I literally have no idea.
Has anyone actually tried this model, or perhaps the previous model, the V Tower?
Feedback?

It's a unit that diffuses a product into a vapourized form. You can use it for weed (which will be the predominate use here), flowers, herbs, essential oils.
You can use it to help with congestion (mint, and other herbs have been known to do this) and bronchitis, asthma as well.
It's a non carcinogenic way to inhale a substance - and more of the active ingredients stay intact as they have not been burned by fire.

To vapourize it anyway.

I guess it's supposed to make your weed last longer or something.
The usage is less, yes. Since you have more THC left intact and not destroyed by fire.
See, traditionally smoking it effects you faster as it's a more traumatic way to enter the body, you feel the effects faster...but, it actually burns away something like 70+% upon ignition, the vapo will give you 80%+ of the unspoiled thc, at LEAST - which becomes airbourne/vapourized at lower temperatures than that of combustion of the solids. The higher thc content does not effect you too much MORE as you may think, but the effects last a lot longer.

The main reason I purchased this, is because weed is a thing for me - not a BIG thing, but where some of you might like to have a drink or two, I choose this as my preferred substance as alcohol doesn't play that well with me.
I find it quite relaxing. Vapo'ing actually gives me a cleaner feeling, I don't feel so FUCKED UP (Although...it's not as though that's impossible) but I the effects are there in a different way.
So, with this method I save money but that's not the main thing - I'm saving my health by cutting out all carcinogenic material and tar. What's more is that use of these is not only comparatively better versus the traditional method, is not only more efficient, but also actually beneficial to the health of your lungs/lung capacity.
So it's weed without the coughing and spluttering, without the tar/carcinogens, without the heartrate fluctuations I find, and I actually felt quite well at ease and chilled.

So yeah, I hope that answered your question, PF, and I guess it served as a bit of a product review there too.

Yeah, tried some other herbs/spices last night. The smell seems to carry quite well - mint, basil, rosemary, lavender, it would all work.

Best thing about the weed factor - no recognisable smell at all.

How does it deliver the smells of herbs and spice really well but no weed smell at all?

You must smoke more weed than Carl Sagan...

That's something I'm not sure of...but then I actually said it was not recognisable as a weed smell...it's true - the vapour that comes out does not smell like that which you'd be used to as the smell of weed. The leftover has no smell either...I guess it's similar to vapourising some lavender oil VS setting s lavender bush on fire?
There is A smell from the weed...just not that smell...it's kind of like very light herbal tea almost. It doesn't eliminate the pre-existing smell of the plant though, proper storage does that for me.

Nope. it's habitual but not excessive.
