I've been watching a few weird documentries latley. Anyone of you guys seen Mondo New York (the bit with Joe Cole is totally fucked up), Sick, or Hated (GG Allin was one twisted man :) )

Sorry, I don't watch many weird documentaries. But I wrote the titles down, so I get back to you...lol.:)

Have not seen it.
I saw Mondo Bizarro a long time ago.
I love weird docs, though:
SICK:The Life & Death of Bob Flanagan, Supermasochist.
I've found some interesting ones on the Discovery Health Channel:
101 Things Removed from the Body
Medical Nightmare: Surgery without Anethesia

I have always wanted to see "Hated"... I am sure it is amusing. But I think GG Allins music is awful. Just a punk gimmick. He also has a whiney voice for being a Tuff guy.

GG wasn't a fucking punk gimmick  and a lot of his songs are my all time favorites. A lot of people just don't get it.
But yeh definatley check it out. Great documentry regardless if you're a fan or not.

One of the funniest, saddest movies I've ever seen. The last twenty minutes of that where his uncle (was it his uncle) just looks like complete death is brutal. The last time you see him on camera it's gibberish, you can tell he's lost most of his mind by then. Then they say that he gave them the money, and that's when i almost lost it.
REALLY got to me.

American Movie is one of my favorite movies of all time. The lines in that movie are better then anything a hollywood writer could make-up.
@Elvis, GG Allins music is stupid. Not even stupid in a good way. I don't supporting drinking and "acting" like a tough guy. He's a racist piece of shit. He goes against everything the music, and the morals I stands for. If you support his actions, that is very very hypocritical.
If you like weird documentries, check out "Smashing Machine".

check out 'Breakfast with Hunter' by Wayne Ewing. Wayne spent almost 20 plus years following around Hunter S. Thompson, the 'Gonzo' Journalist who wrote 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas'
there's actually the option of turning on subtitles in case you can't understand what Thomspon is saying, since he tends to mumble his words alot.

GG Allin is one of my absolute favorite preformers. I love the album Freaks, Faggots, Drunks and Junkies. He makes me laugh my ass off and his songs are a great FUCK YOU to everything. I definatley saw him in a different light after watching Hated (and listening to some of his country stuff). Of course I don't support a lot of the things he sings about - fuck, he probably didn't either - he was just about pissing people off by any means possible. GG was all about personal/freedom of speech and I'm all for that. If that makes me a hypocrite so be it, I don't care.

I am all for freedom of speech. You can say the most racist, homophobic, shit you want too. But that doesn't mean, I'll support it.
Heck, you can break all the beer bottles you want over your head. Go for it! When your that ignorant, it can only help out your braincells. But what GG Allin did was not rebellion, Self abuse don't affect anyone besides yourself. He is more prove why the punk generation failed.
But still, I am sure his documentry is entertaining and I would see it if I could.

Seems to be your favorite saying at the moment.... and once again I don't agree with it.
GG isn't for everyone. He did some great fuckin' rock n roll in my opinion.

Yeah unfortunately you can't pick it up at the local video store. You can however order it online at Breakfast with Hunter Dot Com (http://www.breakfastwithhunter.com) It does have a $25.00 price tag, but if you're a fan Dr. Hunter, than it's definitely worth getting.
speaking of which, I believe unfortunately that the film based on his book 'The Rum Diary' has been put on hold indefinitely, from what I've heard the director has dropped out :(
