My name is Raphael, I'm A seventeen year old high school student and I've loved horror/offbeat type things since I can remember, naturally me being a 90's baby i loved R.L. Stine's "Goosebumps" when i was younger and my horror fixation grew from there. I would say I've watched at least over 200 horror/suspense/thriller films and probably really loved about 20 of them. I really only watch slasher/zombie type films when I'm on dates and really only watch thrillers such as "S7EVEN", "The Invasion Of The Body snatchers" or "Frailty" when I'm by myself, I'm not to big on remakes (only a few) because they usually butcher them) ("When A Stranger Calls", "The Invasion", "The Fog", "Halloween") I can go on forever but I'm gonna keep it moving My favorite franchise is "Final Destination" I think that movie has a very interesting concept, experienced actors and crazy ass ways to kill people. Well i hope I've informed you guys enough about myself and what horror movies I like and don't, I'm curious to see the type of characters that are part of this forum, just have to wait and see ...

Welcome to HDC Raphael,
You sound like your pretty set in what you like and dislike. I hope you are open to other people's recommendations, because the people here have a lot of useful information about other sub-genres of horror. Being a product of the 90s I hope you don't forget to watch and respect the classic horrors. Without these ground-breaking movies, we would not have the films we enjoy today.
And once again, Welcome.
