There are a few versions, but I'd rent the one made in 1963. Directed by Roger Corman and starring Vincent Price, Peter Lorre and Boris Karloff.

Who would be better than Vincent Price? Nobody.

Don't count out the Karloff/Lugosi version.

I've heard of it. I know it was made in the thirties. It was on TV once, but I couldn't watch. Is it worth watching, if I've seen the 1963 version?

how exactly did they stretch The Raven into a feature length movie? And how are there 3 people in it? You've got The Narrirator, you've got The Raven. And people complain that Hollywood changes the story to fit the movie...

Well, the two films are completely different so it's worth watching. It comes on AMC every now and then.

His voice is very memorable... check out Vincent Price talking about his unique cooking techniques (http://g2.latibulum.com/mictlan/temp/Price_Boys.mp3).
