The No One Lives Forever games are great, one of the most under-appreciated franchises out there. Oh, and the first Red Faction? Wow, it's fun and all but I don't know how well it's held up. A lot of the best features in that game have been stolen (and multiplied) by other games now.

rofl...typed it twice when flipping through the game CDs. :p
Yep Cold Fear looks promising. I am thinking of giving it a go next.
No One Lives Forever 2 looks pretty exciting. Red Faction was one of the earliest purchases I made (about a couple years now). Its been sitting on the shelves since then. Sooner or later I might have to give it a go...seeing my love for FPS its bound to be sooner. :D
What about the others?

I've played some of the others but don't remember enough about them to really give you anything helpful.
* The Matrix: Path of Neo - Short, but fun, the hacking subgame didn't thrill me but the story meshed well with the movies.
* Red Faction - Fun FPS with destructible environment. Dated, but #2 is worth seeking out.
* The Punisher - Basic movie tie in game with a fun interrogation system.
* Area 51 - Generic FPS
* Medal of Honor: Allied Assault - Quality MoH game, nothing new though.
* 007: Nightfire - Good Bond game, the intro missions are pretty memorable.
* No One Lives Forever: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way - Great franchise and a blast to play.

If Area 51 is the same as the arcade game of the same name, it's one of my all-time favourite FPS games. Its really straight forward, but super fun anyway.

Are you talking about the one with the guns attached to the machine?

I heard that The Punisher has some really sweet gorific deaths. Looking forward to that.
Area 51 reminds me of Doom 3 for some reason. Need to check it out asap.
Thanks, Des.

i cant comment on any of the others, but i enjoyed red faction.
I would liken it to a movie like Uncle Buck. Not genre defining, not even great, but worth the time, even if only once.

Queued up right after Cold Fear, which I have started yesterday. (so far, so good...and creepy as hell, Urge!)
Thanks, Vod. :)

Will be changing my HDD later so I ll update how the gameplay went for the others.
But Cold Fear is really good and exciting at the beginning. It gets a little too predictable and repetitive in the middle, but has a good finale and some really tough fights. But for someone like me who loved F.E.A.R. so much, Cold Fear wasn't anywhere as spooky as that one.
All in all, a pretty decent experience.

Red faction, it was pretty good. The fact that you can blow through a wall to the next room, instead of using the door is pretty cool. :D
The Punisher was alright. I never really get into the comic book/hero type of games though...Exception of The Darkness.
Area 51, I thought was pretty decent. I never played the old one. But the one they released a few years ago for the PS2, wasn't too bad.
I love all of the Medal Of Honor games.
Never got into Nightfire or No One Lives Forever. Just didn't appeal to me.

Ill Answer th ones Ive plated
Medal of Honor:AA - was a hugely awesome game when it came out. evrybody was playing this game, but to tell you the truth, it cant hold up to anything from the Call Of Duty series any longer.
Red Faction - nothing too special about this game, other than the fact you can blow tunnels through the walls. This was the first and last game to do this, because it copyrighted the technology. It was a fun online game back in the day, i played it for a couple years. dont expect to be any good at it online unless you have an ultra fast trigger finger.
007 Nightfire - like most 007 games, its extremely generic, and doesn't bring anything new to the table, however it was fun to play with a few friends back in the day.
Area 51 - a game that looked promising when i bought it, but ended up terrible. the gameplay blows, it sucks online, the graphics were below par for the time period, and it was really short as well as easy. Havnt played the new one yet, so I cant comment on that.
NOLF 2: great game. great elements of stealth and action, great online experience, (however very small, and probably non-existent online community at this point) only problem is its a little bit cute for an M rated game.

A lot of newer games have used destructible environments more competently though. As for "first and last", what about Red Faction 2?
