So, heard that in some song they overplay so damn much here...what does it mean? What's Jordans?

I Googled it for it...heres what came up:

New Nike shoes come out on Saturdays. Just like movies and music albums always come out on Tuesdays, Jordan Nike's come to stores on Saturdays so they are brand new. Nobody else has them yet. They are fresh off the truck.

Never heard the song (as far as I know), but I guess that could be believable - make sense in context?

Well, lets see...in the song this fella seems to be equating spending time with a girl, to the same thing as having shoes on their release date?
That's pretty fucking lame...but then, so's the whiny song it came from.
