Right right, I've read a bit about this comic and it looks good and all, but is there anyone here who's read it? What's it like? Is it any good?

I love Nny!! He is one of the most twisted characters ever. And Jhonen Vasquez is amazing as a person and an artist. We E-mailed him once to ask his permission to use images of Nny, Squee, Zim, Gir, and his other creations on a website. He wrote back and gave us permission. He was SO freaking nice.
*paints the walls with blood* Just in case...
BTW vampira, it is very gory. That's what we love about Nny. :p

I've always wanted to check out Johnny, him and Too Much Caffeine Man, I just never pick either of them up.
Love Johnny.... Also enjoyed Squee, I Feel Sick and Bear by Jamie Smart.
I'm going to check out Gloomcookie here this weekend. Looks like it's right down my alley, as far as dark/gothic/sardonic humour goes.
Anyone else have any other similar recommendations?

I'm bumping this because I'm wondering the same thing... I'm a huge fan of Nny - The blood, the gore, the self consciousness and, well, the blood and gore.
I am also a HUGE fan of Vasquez's artwork. LOVE Invader Zim, Squee was great, and I Feel Sick was pretty good (great to see his comics in color).
For whatever reason, I totally connected with Nny when I read the comics (take that as fucked up as you will) - So much so that I even nearly got a Nny tattoo (but then I didn't want to be like some goth groupie... Oh, and I wasn't sure that I'd look good at 80 with a Nny on my forearm).
Anyway - There's Lenore, but while it's pretty good for the short macabre gags, it doesn't hold my attention for a whole comic book... Any other little comics out there like Johnny the Homicidal Maniac? I'll have to check out Bear at some point.
Anyone else? More recs? I'm chomping at the bit for bloody comics.
