Those of you in the Pasadena area who can get out to the Makeup Artist Trade Show (Pasadena Convention Center) can see a couple of the prosthetic appliance molds I created for Leonardo DiCaprio's Oscar-nominated performance in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape." They are in one of the display rooms. Hope to see you there!
Rodd
I would love to see some of your work, Rodd. Unfortunately, I live nowhere near Pasadena......how about som pics from the display?

Thank you for the very kind words! As we all know, hdc has LOTS of wonderful, talented people and it's really nice to be in such great company.
You can see my animated "ghost apparition" visual effects on the "Entity Files" documentary supplement of Anchor Bay's "THE ENTITY" DVD. My visual effects team and I worked really hard on those scenes and we heard they gave some viewers nightmares (no foolin'!). All in a day's work. ;)

Wish I could see them! Hey, if you pay for the plane ticket, I'll go!
sayyyy... isn't that where that little old lady is from ?
Why.......I think you may be right
It's the little old lady from Pasadena
The little old lady from Pasadena
Go granny, go granny, go granny go
Has a pretty little flower bed of white gardenias
Go granny, go granny, go granny go
But parked in her rickety old garage
Is a brand new shiny red Super Stock Dodge
And everybody's saying that there's nobody meaner
Than the little old lady from Pasadena
She drives real fast and she drives real hard
She's the terror of Colorado Boulevard
It's the little old lady from Pasadena
If you see her on the street don't try to choose her
Go granny, go granny, go granny go
You might drive a goer but you'll never lose her
Go granny, go granny, go granny go
Well, she's gonna get a ticket now sooner or later
'Cause she can't keep her foot off the accelerator
And everybody's saying that there's nobody meaner
Than the little old lady from Pasadena
She drives real fast and she drives real hard
She's a terror of Colorado Boulevard
It's the little old lady from Pasadena

Seriously!
And if you come to Boston, I'll definitely come out. That is if there are such shows in Boston. :(
And can I just say that I think it's ridiculously AWESOME that you worked on Lawnmower Man? I was seriously OBSESSED with that movie when I was a kid! And then obsessed with the cheesy PC game.

He is talented all right and also very humble. That's why alot of folks are stunned when they find out what he does.
Well, I for one don't really care what he does, but am very glad he does it;)
I have always adored him for just being him:)

I did, actually, to a chick in England as a birthday present for her Freddy-crazy boyfriend!
I gotta tell ya, it was 114 degrees in Pasadena yesterday and about 110 in San Gabriel. You could cook eggs on the sidewalk. Sweet Armando Creeper, that is some hot weather. Today it was only around 85...a relief!
Well.......seeing that we are on the subject...I never wanted to reveal my true self...but you can see some of my work here---->http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001681/
