i was wondering how manny moonspell fans there are here... and furthermore has anyone had the chance of seing them live? how are they?

I'd like them, but they're too much of your basic doom/goth metal kinda band. They do little to separate themselves from most of the other bands of the same type.

They're not horrible though, just something I really don't listen to.

im glad to see this thread up again...but what? how do they not stand out from the crowd? have you heard the man sing? jesus christ what a voice, he dounds like a fucking god with a microphone, i wish i could have just 1% of his skill and coolness of voice. theyr lyrics are pretty special to...or the way he sings one second, whispers the next and suddenley growls or screams like no man can? have you heard irreligius? not many albums id compare that one to.... just my opinion though.
