I'm sure lots of folks grew vup watching Inspector Gadget...even though it was technically before my time, re-runs were out in full force when I was growing up and it was always one of my favourite shows.

Well, I just happened to stumble across this site and read the article out of sheer, morbid curiosity:

...suffice to say, I think I'm going to go cry now.

take heart, the character from the show never had a face, so it is up to your imigination.

the toys are hardly a real source of information for the series. Take, for example, spiderman toys. ever see spider man in the cartoon, movies or comic driving a blue and red supertank?

Also look at the star wars toys from the 80s. All kinds of made up shit that never appeared in the movies. it sint real, it is just a bullshit attempt to put a face on something that doesnt have one. relax :D

I was a fan of the cartoon growing, but seriously, Claw doesn't look any more retarted than Gadget himself.

i was expecting something truly tragic myself, hence the pep talk.

my revelations that killed my innocence were a lot worse than this. I was a fan of Jacques Cousteau and the frugal gourmet as a kid. My revelations were that Cousteau died and Jeff Smith was a pervert. Id rather have the stupid badguy face.

Your childhood is not ruined, just over... not such a bad thing.

"When I was a child I spoke as a child I understood as a child I thought as a child; but when I became a man I put away childish things"

Ahh... fro mthe wise Matthew Lillard in Hackers...

Maybe not?

I agree wiht the concept though, i like adulthood way WAY more than i did childhood. i dont worry about lost youth, I just enjoy the things i used to when i can and dont worry about what i cant.

Oh, come on now - I was obviously exaggerating the whole "childhood is ruined" thingy. You guys take stuff too literal :p

I'm just pissed about that lame face:p

My god. Though I'm a 90's baby, I remember watching inspector Gadget sunday mornings.

It chills me to my very spine. I knew I should have just not looked!
