So i've been awake all night because every time I doze i've had a nightmare about ticks crawling all over me and getting too *attached*. I'm really itchy now because I keep thinking about it. I hate not being able to sleep. Anyone else ever have sleep problems? Excluding Dustin's awesome sleep too long "problem." :)

I've been up all night as well. Mostly cause I'm worrying. I leave for california in three days. I can't wait to go but 10 days after i get back my daughter and her girlfriend will be moving in with me. I will be supporting them on 590 a month. Destiny will be getting a job but we have to make it till the first pay day. I'm glad she's comming but scared about supporting them. :eek:

I've had sleep issues all my life.

I have had problems sleeping for a long time.

Takes sometimes a few hours to get to sleep, and it is very rare to sleep the whole night through.

I'm not sure why - I think working long/irregular hours has something to do with it.

i dont get enough sleep because i never get to bed at a reasonable hour and have to be up before 7 every day. youd think someone who worked out of their house would be well rested.

I've never really had severe insomnia, but I've been known to have trouble sleeping fairly often.

One thing that I find helps is drinking alot of water through the day. I usually down about 3.5 liters a day, give or take - haven't had a bad nights sleep in months :)

i fall asleep about 10 seconds after my head hist the pillow.

only problem i have is that i cant sleep longer than 6 hours.
after 6 - almost to the minute - i wake up.
my back starts aching if i try to lay there any longer.

only exception to this is if i'm really sick and drugged up - but it's been years since the last time.

I find it hard to sleep at night sometimes. I have back problems called Sciatica so it keeps me up and also since I am a night owl I'd much rather be up late at night and mess around online and whatnot rather then be up at 10 AM doing absolutely nothing.

I was inexplicably up until 1 in the morning yesterday. I think that the muggy June haze is getting to me. I find it more and more difficult to go to bed at a reasonable hour.

At least it's pouring today - Hopefully that'll cool things off a bit.

I sleep for about 7 hours a night......longer on weekends...depending on beer intake the night before:D

Over here i fall asleep for 15 minutes max..then wake up as if i never even closed my eyes and carry on with my conversation like i never left it.
Many of the Egyptians who have witnessed this think em nuts.
The weather here is very very hot so it knocks me out like a light..oh and most times when Drac and i are talking..i just fall asleep halfway thru our discussion ..leaving him to shake his head n just wait for me to wake up again.
I have not quite had a full 8 hours sleep yet since being here.

We live in Port Said ..off the border off Iraq n Iran during the week and spend the weekends in Cairo with his family.

Yes I was ..i had a pretty shitty time with my divorce proceedings with my ex.
He didnt want me to be with anyone else so gave drac and i a real bad time..but my silly egyptian perservered and here we are.Because of dracs religion ..we couldnt marry untill i was fully divorced.
If you knew what kind of person drac is ..you would understand that the things he had to endure was not easy for him..Having to put up with crap. We spent the best part of our relationship on the ph or online.
Now we lay in each others arms at night n laugh about it.Really awesome guy he is.
Tlk about spoilt rotten..all i do is point at anything and its mine.Even his parents go mad if they think em unhappy about anything..oh yeah !!and his baby sister just got an acting role in an egyptian soap series..she is sooooooooooooo cute !!

so far evey one of my friends have asked me the same question !!!
and NO ..he is an only son 'thank heavens'..i don't think the world is ready for 2 Hegazy male offsprings.He is one crazy guy..he cracks me up so much with the silly things he says and does..hence ..silly egyptian'.Actually his mum is nuttier than him..LOL.ooh and she is real pretty too.she has beautiful green cats eyes.
He has taught me basic arabic which is cool..i can have a decent conversation and understand bits of wats being said.
