We appreciate the support and thank you for the votes... I will indeed stick around... I may be an actor but Im also a horror fan. Honestly indie horror films are something I would like to stick with. I starred in Dead Moon Rising, a no budget zombie comedy, set to star in a B-movie called Hell-Ephone. I have a small role in a film called Window With A View and with any luck I will snag this Perkins 14 film... I do it because I love it. I in NO way want to be famous. Just want to be an actor...

Been watching a lot of b-movies lately thanks to netflix... Anyone recommend a good horror flick?

Haha, I saw Dead Moon Rising, it was... something else. Somewhat of a letdown really as I was expecting less chit-chat and forced social commentary. I suppose it was all the fault of that cover art...

Ah, illdojo, how I love "Spam" comments. You try to tell horror "fans" about something you think they might enjoy and instead they bitch and whine because of it. Do I want to win sure... Is that the only reason I posted on here? No. Look around I've been on his board before... Just to talk horror. I just assumed horror "fans" would enjoy such a concept as picking a cast for a legit horror film. My bad for thinking you cared...

Now as for Dead Moon Rising... Well I have to agree that the awesome Cover Art saved our ass. Not that it was a horrible. In truth Im very proud to have starred in it... Considering we made a film with ZERO money and had it distributed nation wide and we were just recently in FANGORIA magazine as video of the month whats not to be proud of?

Is it a great movie? No... Is it a fun movie made by passionate people with no money? Yes... We played the comedy and campyness up as much as possible. It was our only saving grace. If you like bad no budget b zombie comedies I think you will like DMR. If you want to see an Oscar worthy film, why are you here? In truth I would have liked DMR to have a lot more action and gore and a little less talk myself... But thats just me... I was hoping for more of a "Dead and Breafast" feel... But still, Im proud as hell of it.

From the cover art I was almost thinking Dead and Breakfast meets Army of Darkness heh. It wasn't the worst horror I've ever seen but my expectations were so high, it had been sitting in my netflix queue for weeks waiting for release, that I was really let down. Oh, and the social commentary was even thicker than Romero's. ;)

... I would have to agree. We knew what we had when we made it so we just marketed it in a different way. t worked ince we thought ony our family and about 6 of our friends would ever see it... The rest is history. I would still like to have had more gore and violence.
