I personally think this movie sucked. I hired it after being recommended it by a few people. The story was pretty cool/well acted but the movie lacked gore and suspense. I think it has been wrongly labeled a horror movie.

It's more of a After-School Special/Exploitation movie...

I liked this movie. It's also the movie Heathers was based on and it co-stars Rainbeaux Smith, so I ain't sayin' nothn' bad about it.

Yeh I noticed the similarities with Heathers but it just didn't work well as either a exploition or horror movie. Speaking of high school movies have you guys seen Class Of 1984? It probably one of my favorite high school/exploitation movies.

Yes, Class of 1984 rocks. Michael J Fox even supplied a drum roll. Speaking of Perry King movies, anyone see the Vietnam vet action flick Search and Destroy with Perry AND Don Stroud? Now that's cool!

Yeh Class Of 1984 is awesome. The only other thing I remember Perry King in was that 80s TV show Riptide (? - I think that was what it was called). Do you remember that movie Savage Streets with Linda Blair? That was also a cool High School gang movie.

oh yeh what about that fucking theme song in Massacre at Central High you gotta admit that it is fucking terrible *cringes just thinking about it* it was the scarest part of that movie.

Yeah, that was a shitty theme song, I'll give you that. Dude...I loved Riptide. Perry King is the guy who could've been Michael Pare (or is that the other way around?).

Savage Streets was pretty fun little movie, with Linda Blair playing a tough girl for a change.

Riptide??? How did we get on the topic of Riptide? I loved and wanted to own that damned robot so bad.

Dude...I don't know where the fuck the Riptide reference came from, I'm just thankful it popped up.

As for the robot...didn't we all want to own it?

Yes. All I remember from Riptide is the opening credits montage and the robot would always fall off the boat into the water. I remember thinking how badass a water-proof robot must be.

Remember the nerdy sidekick who always broke his thumb because he put it inside his fist whenever he hit someone? Don't know if he was waterproof, though. But isn't it strange that we all wanted the robot instead of a nerdy sidekick? Does that mean we're bad people?

And how about the robot dog on Battlestar Galactica (a truly horrible show)? Damn, I always wanted one of those. Or at least to train Richard Hatch to fetch.

And the robot Twikki on Buck Rogers. Wanted one of those, too.

Well, the nerdy sidekick guy got killed by Alice Cooper in Prince of Darkness. So I'd rather have the robot.

I haven't seen POD in years, but I picked it up the other day on DVD and intend to watch it sometime this week.

I saw POD recently. I didn't like it as much as when I first saw it. They should put Alice Cooper in more bad guy rolls he was pretty cool in it.
