For anyone unable to view the link, heres the article:

We caught wind this evening of a pretty interesting horror project from Monterrey Picture Entertainment entitled Escape of the Living Dead. John Russo, co-creator of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, wrote the script and is attached to direct the official sequel to Romero's classic '68 zombie flick. Joe Majestic, Sam Sherman will co-produce with Russ Streiner, producer of the original NOTLD. The official sequel will star Tony Todd (Candy Man, Final Destination), Gunnar Hansen (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Amber Stevens and Kristina Klebe (Halloween). No other details were revealed. Watch this spot for more soon.

Hmmmm sounds like a sequel to the remake of NotLD to me.

But I will probably check this out if and when it comes out.

I would normally be incredibly excited over this but with Tony Todd & Gunnar Hansen it almost seems like one of those horrible B movies where the creator throws in horror mainstays to attract viewers that would normally pass up the thing.

I'll probably be the first in line to see it but I won't get my hopes up. :)

Well, if nothing else, there will always be the recurring cheap thrill of fleasheating ghouls overcoming mankind. Even if the movie is horrible, at least there are zombies.

And love the Pyramidhead, btw. I was actually listening to SH3's soundtrack in my caron the way to lunch today, hehe.

Yeah, I'm a zombie fan through and through and that will never change.

Oh yeah, and World War Z.

If you like zombie books check out Monster Island, Monster Nation, and (I'm assuming here) Monster Planet. I loved Island and Nation but haven't got a chance to pick up Planet.
