Is anybody else loving this label? They've put out Black Sheep, a new Night of the Living Dead remaster, Inside, Teeth, and Diary of the Dead not to mention some I haven't seen yet. Of course they've got some REALLY bad looking films on the label too but the quality seems to outweight the crap.

Been meaning to check out some of the films on that label, but haven't got around it it yet.

They seem to put out some cool shit.

Lions Gate really made me angry with Hostel. I had bought it and ended up watching it somewhere else and wasn't super impressed. I had it wrapped on my self for a long time and when I went to play it got nothing but an odd skipping noise in whatever player I tried it in. I could get no help from the company... bastards. They are doing a lot better with their releases but they're still no Anchor Bay (speaking of which the AB plant is here in MI I believe...).

a lot of their stuff is bare bones (havent had any playing issues)

i was just thinking of their catelogue which was pretty awful a couple of years ago but getting pretty impressive and diverse lately.

i believe they released the JAckie chan/jet li movie theatrically

I'm excited that companies are taking chances and releasing some classic, unheard of, or even crazy films. The Miriam Collection is looking like it may be phenomenal as well. To be honest I thought you were talking about Lions Gate themselves, didn't catch the Maple part. But Maple Pictures released The Eye Remake and Rambo into theaters and have some decent DVDs out (including the Saw series, Bug, and Devil's Rejects). I'll have to keep my eyes open for more of their stuff.
