Any old school D&D fans kicking around here? For some reason I am feeling Halloweeny today, and i have been reading a lot of fantasy these past few months. Makes me miss the old days of 2nd edition.
Ravenloft was one of my favorite campaign worlds. Good ol' gothic horror; vampires, werewolves, zombies.
Anyone else have fond memories of this?

but i do have a couple of the books kicking around that i had planned to sell at one point.
i've been building up quite a collection of the old D&D books as well (the game books) i buy them when i see them and have quite a stack going - but as i no longer sell on ebay - havent for about 5 years now - i question my actions.

i dont, you are a hoarder.
Be happy, most hoarders have rooms filled with garbage and rotting food. i think DVDs and books are a worthwile obsession :)

Bree hates it, but i have a collection of D&D game books i have had since i was 12-15. and i refuse to get rid of them, though i havent played since i was in my early 20s.

the right ones in good condition still go for big $$$ on ebay.
my next door neighbour still gets together with friends and plays it once a week.

Haha, you guys are silly...I know lotsa chicks who LOVE nerds...Personally, I think they're hot...I gotta thing for BRAINS
It's odd...I have found that the passive, submissive, intelligent guys are the ones who end up being the most passionate and sexually proficient (read this as "AMAZING", "AWESOME", "INCREDIBLE")...Once you get 'em going ;)

OH...Remember the part in Revenge Of The Nerds, where Lewis actually shares his 'theory' on this?...Perhaps he was right ;)

I looked quick and seeing who started this thread, I thought it was gonna be about Ravenholm....one of the best levels on any FPS.

i have been conflicted about 2nd edition ever since i found out it was D&D's co-creator's wife's attempt to fuck Gary Gygax out of the intellectual property rights to d&d.
But it was the core of my d&d life. it came out the year after i was introduced to it.
