Everyone has certain brands they swear by, either becuase they grew up with it, enjoy it, or just all around think it's the best. This is pthe place to pimp your favorites. you may even turn some people on to something they never would have thought of trying.
here are some big ones for me:
Hot Sauce:
Frank's Red Hot

Beer:
Corona

Cooking tools:
Lodge Cast Iron and Calphalon

Lodge is the original US cast iron skillet manufacturer, and just like Levi's, the first is the best. I have 3 skillets, a grilled cheese pan and a melting pot, all cast iron, all purchased before they began pre-seasoning them (which takes all of the fun out of owning cast iron). I use my 12" skillet (also my first) almost every day.
Calphalon comprises the rest of my cooking tools. my pots and pans are all calphalon stainless, as is my knife set. they are the best knives i have ever owned. I used to have 2 zwilling knives, nice german steel. neither could hold an edge as well as my calphalons, and i even snapped the tip off my 10" chef's knife zwilling. The calphalon ones hold an edge amazingly well, and are indestructable.
your turns :)
I'll agree on the hot sauce....its the only one I use.
beer may be a different story

I was working a contract up in Manchester NH that ended back in October. My boss took me and the other guys out to lunch to say good bye on my last day, and the place he took us had been serving arrogant bastard for about a month.
I was brave and had 2 :) (20 oz :D)

Its pretty mild for a high ABV beer.....I think so anyway.

Converse- I used to wear nothing but. Now since they've outsourced everything to Mexico they are very cheaply made- they rip much faster and there's less padding in the soles.

There is one exception to that generally inmutable rule, cinderella 3 was surprisingly clever.
classic disney isnt bad, but things started falling apart sometime after the little mermaid. beauty and the beast pushes things a bit, started getting hokey and the acting was going downhill. then they made pocahontas... the hunchback of notre dame, and Hercules.
Hercules was worse than a parody of disney movies. Disney typically sanitized the stories to be more kid friendly, understandable.
But hera and zues were in love? "Herc" is a star? jesus christ... that movie made me want to vomit.

I wasn't a big fan after Beauty and the Beast either. Not much into Hercules, Tarzan, Hunchback, Mulan...
But I did like Monsters Inc., Toy Story, and The Incredibles.

I LOVE Beauty and the Beast, but I agree that after that one, I also wasn't much of a fan. But I will admit that I do like Mulan. Hercules and The Hunchback of Notre Dame I didn't care much for at all though.
I really liked The Incredibles a lot as well, never saw Toy Story.

no - cars was definately the most unengaging misfire Pixar ever had.
Ratatouille was very goo . didnt think i would like it from the ads - and was pleasantly suprised.
Aflect was the BOMB in Phantoms, yo ! (gues sthe quote)
I actually kind of liked phantoms as well ... but it wasnt the movie for o'toole

Yeah, Jay and Silent were right about Affleck. Still, if O'Toole owes for any bad performance is the sloppy drunken job he did in Caligula. Although I doubt if his acting could have saved it.

Strangely enough, for a film so well-reviewed, I thought Ratatouille was seriously lacking in the story department. Considering that it's a film about artistry and inspiration, I found it more than a little odd that the main human character remains an incompetent goof throughout the picture, when he could have learned to unleash his "inner cook" as a result of the rat's efforts...
It was fun to watch and I liked the animated rats, but, it didn't do for me what, say, Finding Nemo did for me.

The human remained underdeveloped on purpose, i thought. The story was about Remy.
The incredibles is one o fmy all time favorite movies. Pixar (and especially pixar movies from Brad Bird) are probably the best family films out there. they are appropriate without ever being preachy or pandering. plus the animation is always excellent and their casting is usually dead on.
Back on topic, when i smoked, i was partial to Zippos for lighters (although when you smoke, anything that will light the little fuckers works)
I am a loyal Solichnaya drinker. I appreciate the quality of brands like Grey Goose, but for my money, Stoli has a unique taste that i prefer.

A little bit off-topic...I just wanted to pop in and defend Hercules.
I'd really have to say that it's one of my absolute favourite Disney movies. I was born-and-raised on the classics...Sword and the Stone, Pinocchio, Robin Hood, 101 Dalmatians, stuff like that. Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin came out shortly after I was born, and those became pretty major for me, too.
Hercules came out when I was around 7-8. We went to see it in theatres, and I fell in love. It's the first time I can really think of being obsessed with a movie...to this day its one of my all-time favourite movies, bar none. Yes, it shits all over Greek myth - so what? It's a Disney movie, just roll with it:) .
Poor Herc...gets all the shit...

This is the one product that you actually feel the effects it claims to have.

Energy drinks. = Lucozade.
I don't think you have lucozade in america. Gatorade and that are nice but for real energy, I have to rank lucozade the best. Seriously, you have to try the latest one if you get the chance. It is the most energy giving drink I have ever had!
