Saw a trailer for this...anyone have a good link for more info? Looks like a like a zombie-soldier aka mutated soldier film...I think it has Thomas Jane in it, but no sign of him in the trailer. The 7 min trailer at :

well what to say about this trailer?
i didnt really like it to be honest....it doesnt look very good..maybe its just because the quality of the trailer wasnt very good, or maybe im just not into the whole mutant storyline.
but thats just me.

I think in this case the term mutant means mutated...like converted into the zombies....don't think it means anything like the Xmen mutants, but I could be wrong-and often am. I thought the trailer showed some promise for the film...with all the good actors it has in it, I'm hopeful.

no im pretty sure it meant mutated...and thats the storyline im not into...anything to do with x-men or mutants of that kind of my cup of tea...i love comic books...im kind of a geek in that sense...but when it comes to mutated people...i just seem to get freaked and not want to watch.
im going and see it though im not sure

Nothing wrong with that..I'm 34 and have a GIANT comic collection-most all of Wolverine and Punisher....even X-men 94...really hated the way Xmen 3 came off at the movies(Juggernaut a mutant?)...but I liked the first 2.

This has been in production for ages now...at least a couple of years. I remember while back they released test footage of what is supposed to be the first 10 minutes. I dont really remember much of it anymore, but from what I recall it was pretty sweet.
Looking forward to it.

I agree, it looks promising. Plus Thomas Jane and Devon Aoki are in it.

Magnet Releasing, the genre arm of Magnolia Pictures, has picked up the U.S. distribution rights for the sci-fi flick Mutant Chronicles, and has it set for a Friday, April 24th release in select cities.
Mutant Chronicles, which boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Thomas Jane (Punisher, The Mist), Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Devon Aoki (Sin City) and John Malkovich, is a post-apocalyptic epic based on the popular RPG franchise of the same name.
Set in the year 2707, the action takes place on an unrecognizable Earth where a war is raging between four giant corporations who control the planet as they battle over the planet's dwindling resources. This war is soon rendered irrelevant when an errant bomb shatters an ancient buried seal, releasing a horrific mutant army from its prison deep within the earth. As the mutant scourge threatens human extinction, a squad of ragged soldiers, led by Mitch Hunter (Jane), descends into the earth in a last ditch effort to destroy the mutants and save mankind.
Prior to its theatrical release, Mutant Chronicles will debut on VOD on Friday, March 27th.
