jumped through a sheet of real glass ?
i dont think so ..
the stunts are spectacular to be sure but i dont believe everything i see.
- the film on rollerskating stunt under the truck was sped up for one thing.
the one thing i cant understand is that at his age - and after all of those injuries - why isnt he just one big mess of aches ?
I'm sore just from watching that.

i think he did actually, did you see the shot of the cuts all over his face afterwards?

he had a couple of small ones - but you'd get that from the framework holding the fake glass and the stuff around it he landed on.
trust me - if you jumped through a real glass plate he would be sliced and stabbed to bits .. not little pokes.
the stunt was great - dont get me wrong .. no matter what he jumped through his body is going a great distance at a great speed ...and there's going to be a hard impact ... but no one will jump through real glass.
(people have been killed accidentally walking through glass doors)

I think it was real safety glass, the glass which breaks into small chunks rather than shattering into giant jagged pieces. It didn't shatter like a standard glass pane would but it probably still hurt like hell. As far as the truck scene being sped up I don't know, I do know that jackie claimed that he did not use any camera tricks. I think if he would have continued doing stunts of that magnitude he probably would have died on film. Did you see the way he landed on the clock drop? Holy crap...

yeah - amazing he hasnt broken his neck.
i was suprised the person didnt include (as one of the 10 best - it was shown in the beginning of the clip) the jump from the apartment building to the balcony of the building next door in Rumble in the Bronx.
that was insane

I loved his work with fire in the first Drunken Master too, he probably spent some time in a burn ward after that one.

His stunt work is amazing, but I enjoy his comedic choreography and use of props/weapons much more

I enjoy watching him use props to fight with more than his stunts as well. Combined with his physical comedy the goofy things he picks up to help him defend himself make for very entertaining fight scenes.
