the maxx kicked ass. . .
my favorite was when the MAXX guy would start ranting and then would look up at all the shocked faces around him and say "did i say that out loud?" - i still say that even though no one has any idea what i'm referencing

The Maxx was fantastic. I would love to own it on DVD, but preliminary research only turned up old VHS copies of it.
As for the comics, I was able to get my hands on the first 5 or 6. I would like to possess the rest of the series, but they're a little hard to find and the paperback book collections are more than I'd like to pay right now. :(
Any suggestions on where to find any of the above outside of ebay? How big is The Maxx comic collection, anyway? How many comics total? I'd do the research now, but my head is killing me...
Aeon Flux is something else I'd like to own eventually as well.
Does anyone remember The Head? That was an odd little animated series.

MTV hurts my mind
The later seasons of Beavis and Butthead kills however....
Be keen to see the animated shit of the Hate comics that was meant to happen.

I used to watch this show too. It was weird, but i think that's why i liked it. I used to watch it along with Aeon Flux. Thankfully all the Aeon episodes are on DVD now. When are they going to put the Maxx on DVD?
MTV really does suck now. I don't think it's been the same since the 90's ended.

Mr. Gone = one of my favorite cartoon villains. Also, a really cool name. Mr. Gone. Gone. It both sounds and reads really cool as a character name. Mark my words, I'm going to write a character with the name Gone in some fashion.

I mean the cartoon was stupid, at least from what I remember which isn't much. :)
"In 1995, the Savage Dragon appeared in an eponymous half-hour animated television show as part of the Cartoon Express on the USA Network. It ran for 26 episodes from 1995 to 1996, and featured numerous supporting characters from the comic book series, including She-Dragon, Horde, Barbaric, Mako and Overlord. The Dragon was voiced by Jim Cummings. Additional voices were provided by Mark Hamill, Michael Dorn, Rene Auberjonois, Frank Welker, Dawnn Lewis, Paul Eiding, Peter Cullen, Robert Ito, and Tony Jay. It however appealed to a much younger audience than the comic it was taken from."
