I had to take my lil boy to the doctor yesterday(hes 3), he has some fits of aggression sometimes. I thinmk hes a little "overly" hyper at times as well too. I thought it would be a pretty simple appt. basic stuff! The doc ended up givimg me prettymuch the exact speech that Loomis gives in RZ Halloween. I swear, he was almost calling my little man a psycho and i was heartbroken. He gives two meds to start with, Adderall and Clonidine, my kid is a fucking vegetable on these. He is supposed to go back every two weeks and he says hes going to up the dosage and give him a couple other meds. The other thing that has me upset is that these are considered off label drugs, which means hes not supposed to give these to little kids and Wal mart wouldnt even give them because of that. So, my qusetion is do you guys think i should get a second opinion?

I think the initial onset of medication like this will have some pretty shitty effects on the child.
I also think that there's always a second opinion out there if you're not happy with the current treatment.
