Good answer on IT, I first saw it at 13, and found it pretty freaky, I later read the book, and was glad they hadn't fully adapted it (from ALL of the book) at the point i first saw the movie...a full version could fuck a kid up for life, although, Id love to see one now....who else?

it may sound like a stupid joke but at day camp we took our girl scout leaders clothing and puit them up the flag pole and hide them in the woods and there was also the prank the junior class did my senior year of high school by putting exlax in the slushie machine at lunch but they got caught

predfan
01-16-2004, 09:37 PM
i used to pull jokes as a kid, like putting fake spiders and insects on chairs, it worked well on my mum once lol she screamed pretty bad....thats too juvenile for me to do now

one i did recently was on this guy from my class i didnt really like, but who sat at the same table i did...i found this broken chair that looked normal but leaned to the side badly when u sat on it bcoz one leg was broken, and i replaced his normal chair with that so when he sat down he fell off the chair

i also remeber a prank being done in school when someone let loose mice in the cafeteria during lunch the one year and one when and one i heard about at a local school where students put dead fish in the heating vents all over the school

one i saw one this tv show with real pranks, these two guys shared an apartment. one of them got up while the other was sleeping and put a big sheet of glad wrap across the hall way, from celing to bottom, wall to wall. it was seethrough completely...so the other guy wakes up, walks down the corridor and walks right into the gladwrap and gets wrapped up and stuck in it

cheebacheeba
01-17-2004, 12:14 AM
No doubt then you've heard the one where you stretch out some "glad wrap" (if anyone doesn't know what this is, this is what we call the clear plastic stuff you wrap sandwiches up in here, im not sure about where y'all are) under a toilet seat just a lil bit into the bowl? If u haven't heard of it, go figure....
My sister had a chronic phobia about spiders ever since she had a spider called a huntsman (aussie spider that's kinda like a slightly smaller tarantula, about half the size) climb down towards her on the wall right when she woke up, at about the age of 5....of couse this drove me to find and buy as many realistic plastic spiders as I could....that's the good thing about real phobias....u can get 'em again and again with the same few tricks....
My mother used to work late when I was about 12, she would come home when it was dark (about 10:30pm) and I would wait nearby, hidden, til she got outta the car, then come up behind her suddenly and grab her...the first time was the best, but that one also worked again and again....
another "kinda" practical joke is telling somebody you can nail a full glass of water to the wall, without a hammer, without breaking the glass, of course, somebody's gonna want to see you do this....get the fulol glass of water (or whatever) and place it carefully against the wall...make like youre starting to push the nail into it, and drop the nail...tell the person you have the glass in just the right position, and if u get the nail, it wont work, as them to retrieve it for you....and when they do, spill the glass of water allover 'em...
so....what's something horror related we can start on???
this new movie "bubba ho-tep" with BC...apparently it's not quiet horror....anyone know what it's about???

predfan
01-17-2004, 12:42 AM

nah, fuck waiting, whoever reads it and knows the answer can throw a reply in down the line...that'z the deal, come up with new stuff whenever u want, talk about the old stuff whenever you want....
how bout this one....iwhat r your answers for all of the following:
What should be....?
*A tv show made about a movie
*a movie made about a tv show
*a game made outta a movie
*a movie made outta a game
*a game made outta a tv series???

predfan

good questions

1) should be a series about candyman....told thru the eyes of different characters...in the old days when candyman was alive as a normal human, his tragic death should be told thru the eyes of one of his friends who tells him not to get involved with that white girl bcoz he might get punished by racists
then in the 2nd half of the series u would have another filmmaker helping that chick (forgot her name) find out about candyman, and the events are told thru his/her eyes

2) a movie made on the gothic cartoon Gargoyles, having really nice CGI gargoyles with same personalities as the tv series

3) shuold make a game out of Chucky movies....have u stuck in a house with chucky with excellent graphics, shadow details everything

4)movie made about Ecstatica, basically plot was theres a girl who dreams and all the monsters from her dreams invades her village, u are a traveller entering the village for supplies and dont know what the hells going on...scary gremlins, werewolves comnig out of nowhere...

5)game made out of Courage the Cowardly dog.....make it sort of an animated adventure

cheebacheeba
01-17-2004, 01:10 AM
aaaaight, boy! good shit! here's mine....

*series on "phantoms" 1 hr show about ppls encounters with the "beast", some victories, some defeats, throughout the ages...

*I love Gargoyles.....the comic rocked, as did the series-I'd make a movie to (avenger) end the series of Quantum Leap

*Game - it's all been done, but I'd love to see a GOOD terminator trilogy game, all in 1st person...., or how bout Critters??

*Silent hill would probably rock, I'm sure someones probably working on that as we speak....one game Id love to see movie-ized is "zombies ate my neighbours" I loved the game, and if they could pack that many diff types of baddies into one horror/comedy...I'd go watch, just to see it....

*I'll go with quantum leap here again....or maybe Battlestar galactica...I dunno, alotta 80's seires woulda been gameworthy, I think....

predfan
01-17-2004, 04:16 PM
i liked quantum leap the series aswell.....if they made it a movie i reckon theyd need three movies to cover the possibilities

okay if this is about whatever.. I am bored so I am going to vent and bitch about some stuff. today I was at this store and this guy walked up to me and grabbed my arm.. looking at my tattoo and shaking his head.. so i am like what the fuck man dont touch my arm.. and I was really confused to cause this idiot came out of nowhere, right.. and I am thinking who the hell is he to be touching me, for all he knows I am a fucked up crazy person or something.. No, but my girl weras spikes, and gets stares n shit to no end about it...., just like I get called a goth for wearing primarily black (I do wear some grey and dark blue too...heh) for fucks sake, attire...etc doesn't define a person, their closed-minded nature'll only lose them the ability to make friends anyway, and if it's old people, which it so often is, I just have to laugh every other time I hear one of 'em spit the 'ol "respect your elders" crap....respect is something that should be both ways....oh, I could sooo go on about this, but I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about....
True pred, there could be alotta possibilities for a quantum leap movie....or hey, they could just adapt the post-tv show books into a new miniseries, to finally give us fans the "ending" we've been looking for....the books made after the series were great, but to be honest, I didnt read the last few, so even I dunno how it'd end....if the books didn't end up resolving anything, I guess they could make a new miniseries about 'em, and follow it up with a movie...?

i dont really pay attention to music in movies much, so sue me!
i like sound effects like freddys squeaking knives and lethafaces roaring chainsaw

as for games, i dont play much anymore but i liked old horror games like dangerous dave on the pc, DD2 AND DD3. also biomenace, although thats more of an action isnt it.

AND MOST OF ALL, MY FAVE: 'ALTERED BEAST' really old kickass game for the pc, u beat up monsters, zombies and weirdass bosses, and u can turn into werewolves, werebear, weretiger and stuff like that

Yeah, I kinda liked altered beast too, it DID get a little repetetive, but yknow what, they've "kinda" released a sequel, finally....
It's on gameboy advance, anyone seen it? I've only came across it after buying a disk with 1000 gba roms on it tho, I dunno where it's actually sold, I dont think Ive seen it in shops...
as for a horror-ish game, my favourite, and everyone up in here'll know this by now, is: zombies ate my neighbours....I cannot name the many reasons why this game rocked so much...
The game that's made me jump the most is a toss up between Clive Barkers: undying, Blood, and Clock tower....speaking of which, what are the clock tower sequels like?, if anybodys played 'em
As for a horror movie score, Im drawing a blank on my own question, can u beleive thaT? all I can think of is nightmare on elm st, always found that ominous and creepy...
and yet another topic....anyone ever think they could do a sequel to "big trouble in little china"???

As most of you'll probably know, I live in Australia, among other things, land of the backwards tv releases...(and toilet flushes?), so forgive me if this is old news...
I have recently purchased a dvd titled:
Rugrats: All Grown Up
It had 3 episodes of rugrats on it, two of which were a 2 part episode called "All Growd Up", in which they imagine what things'll be like 10 years down the line. It had a song with flashbacks from the entire old series towards the end which gave it a very "end of series" feeling.
Then I watched the rest, the First 2 episodes of the show itself called "All Grown Up" based on the abovementioned episode...I myself thought it was great.
A couple of questions for anyone who knowz....
1: Has the rugrats show officially ended @ that 2 part episode "all growd up"?
2: Has "All Grown Up" the series continued? I ask, as I have only been able to find this first dvd....
any info/comments would be cool

Might I suggest a quick open palm to the base of the nose, that usually stops the mashers, or a knee square in the balls works everytime. Of course if I was a chick, maybe I would do this anyway I think it would scare the shit out of them, grab the guys balls and tell him you just wanted to check them out, squeeze hard. Ive had people come up to me and ask if they can see my tattoos because I have ones on my arms that are quite visible, so I start by taken my pants down, they usually ask me to stop before I get 2 far. I guess people are 2 embarrassed in public for that sort of thing. I personally have no shame and dont give a afuck what anybody thinks, but the response you gave to this guy was excellent I will have to remember that one.

On a note similar to what you are saying, I was at a grocery store with my daughter she was about 3, she was sitting in the cart and I was waiting to pay the bill when I notice the old guy bagging groceries is touching my daughter, now I dont mean in an inappropriate way but, I almost leaped the cart and shoved the guy back and told him "Dont fuckin' touch her" he was very visibly upset and everyone kind of stopped and looked. I could tell the cashier,an older woman, wanted to say something but I gave her the "I will kill you without hesitation or remorse look" and she didnt say a word. Maybe I overeact when it comes to my kids but I grew up street smart and my motto is to "Trust No One" there are predators around every corner, be one of the sheep or be the sheepdog and chase off the wolves.

I'm taking both of your posts, because I just love phantasmagoric art, stories, movies, etc. Tim Burton is great with phantasmagoria.

Oh, and as a matter of fact, I have the Phantasmagoric Tarot Deck. It gives some of the best readings too.

Topic..I never saw James and the Giant Peach :( I've always meant to do so. And you know, I've been looking to rent a DVD....looks like I've found one. Thanks Cheeba and Rayne.

Good boy Creeper..(dig the new avatar daddy-o)..guy hand his hands on your daughter, motherfucker needed to be put (or thrown) back on his place, PERIOD. Shit like that don't have to be predatory for it to be crossing boundaries, I mean hey, I have no daughter for comparison here, so I'll use my woman - a cashier guy grabbed her, and I'd just as soon have broken his wrist, I commend your self-control!

Rayne, Big-Fish was Tim Burton? Now I DO wanna see it, hadn't heard ANYTHING about it personally, other than the name, which, to be honest, made me NOT wanna see it initially. Glad I have this info now.

What's this site you were all so descriptive about in the last few posts? Shed some darkness about the content, will u, somebody?

I think you'll very much enjoy James and the giant peach, Haunted, put it this way, it's a movie made by one of the best, based on a book written by one of the best, actually, THE best IMO (Long live Roald Dahl, you made my childhood a little more bearable), you gotta love that, right?!?

Ritual, if you want a decent weapon, one that aint gonna kill, but definately have someone step off on account of the amount of quick blood it draws, I'd go with a surgical scalpel, minimal effort to use, easily concealable, and like I said, draws a helluvalotta blood...stings too...

Just wanna take this oppertunity to thank you all for posting on my thread also, I am really diggin' what you guys are coming up with in here, it's almost starting to feel like a chatroom or something!

Tommorow's my b'day (23), it's gonna get hectic, so I probably won't be in, I'll try to post a little later today if possible

Nightmare creatures rocked....shadowman not so much IMO, did you play Nightmare Creatures 2? That was just awesome....
I gotta mention here that u skipped a gaming generation tho...those are 32-bit games, on playstation right?

ok cheebs lets see if i can butt into the conversation :)

favourite food: mussels
favourite 16-bit game: cant remember the name of my favourite game it was like this strategy turnbased game in asian language (i dont know asian but u can guess what the buttons mean) and the battle scenes were so cool u could have really cool armies of skeletons and stuff and a hero.

good ones:
offroad racing, u could run over animals and satisfy ur cruel intentions
super tennis was good, quest (in asian language so i didnt understand the buttons at first but u find out what they mean eventually)

never had a ps2 or ps1
xbox: i like xmen:next dimension and jedi academy, i wanna get enclave
if anyone knows anything about enclave id like to hear ur advice whether i should get it

and wicked lady ill definitely check out the site when my sound works, i think its stuffed and i need to restart the comp but i cant be bothered to restart the comp now

and ppl who touch kids or stare at ppl for being different SUCK, they should go to hell and touch and stare at the demons all they want, lets see how fucking long they'll survive doing that.

Pred...I found enclave to be a bit dissapointing to be honest, great graphics and all, just was nowhere near as good as it looked, if u have a ps1 or 2, play nightmare creatures, similar, but better in my opinion.

predfan
01-18-2004, 10:47 PM

cheebacheeba
01-18-2004, 11:51 PM
The graphics r great, the fact that you can do both a good or evil campaign (that are actually different) is good too.
If you ask me, the cpmbat is too difficult, and the enemies too continuous.
But then again, I don't always agree with the crowd....try it, and tell me what you think all the same.
I do remember Actraiser, and I think part 2, they were like slash 'em ups with rpg elements?
For rpgs on snes, I liked the 7th saga.

i played actraisers, yes it was action with some rpg
u would start off protecting this town from monsters with that Cupid angel thingy,, also people would come to you with quests and stuff, then u would fight the monsters
first level the boss was a centaur, 2nd lvl was a minotaur, 3rd level was a firespitting chimera, i never got past it :p

Yeah Pred - I think I preferred actraiser 2 myself, if Im thinking of the right game, but I think you were more of an archangel type dude than a cherub....
I heard Conkers bad fur day was excellent, well at least to the point that it had swear words amd "adult themes"...heh-heh, looked pretty cool too. I THINK I have read something saying there may be a follow-up on gamecube, but read it a little while ago, if there is, I hope they keep it hardcore 4 ya.

Johnny Depp used to be "kinda" cool, but somewhere along the line I think he lost it...(gee, u think it might have been the mascara?)
