Correction, Scottish Indian food is shit. Coe further south and it's great! Rumour has it we also invented the Tikka Masala.

P.S - Was it a company owned by a guy called the curry king?

I don't know about the curry king, it's an individual retraunt, not a chain...

It was as bad as the Indian I ate in London, what you call tikka Massala is just butter chicken, and no, the poms didn't invent it...

Trust me, Indian restaunts in the U.K are shit... they are not authentic, they sell hot chips for fucks sake!

hmmm, maybe it's the ones you went to coz I've been to three or four and they were excellent. (And one of them was in america, so I don't think it's just coz I was born here and this is all I know). But oh well, go to a small town one run by Indians. There's an indian resturant in my town run and owned by a bunch of english people. I haven't been in there.

Indian restraunts that sell hot chips are retarted, I will never get my head around it....

I'm talking about Indian restraunts in the U.K, so what the hell does America have to do with it...

What I meant was I can compare them and they were about the same, so either they're both shit and because I haven't had it anywhere else I think it's good, or the ones you went to were terrible.

I just got some chicken curry at one of those Hawaiian type hoochie grills, I didn't eat it there but I went there to get it. it's not like any other kind of curry at all, seems more soy sauce-based, spicy curry powder comes in behind that flavor...

I went to a sushi resturant once, well, it said sushi in big on the sign outside. It was a fish and chip shop that sold small boxes of sushi for ridiculous prices.

They were probably both shit, I have eaten a lot of curry in a lot of countrys and...

lol, maybe it's just a difference in taste. Oh well. But I do agree with the chips thing. Its for all the stupid people who go to an indian but don't like anything on the menu. Why don't they go to fucking McDonalds?! Don't go to a place where you don't like the food.

not really "eating out" per se, but we got a tomato and cheese deep dish pizza from Uno's on New Years. Washed it down with a nice 20 oz Corona and followed it up with gummy bears. Great time had by me.

It was pretty good... £23 for starters, two pizzas and pudding.
