Hulk Hogan's wife wants her estranged husband to meet her halfway.

Linda Bollea, who filed for divorce from her husband of 24 years last week, is seeking half of the couple's shared assets, which include more than $9.5 million in real-estate holdings.

The couple owns an almost 17,000-square-foot mansion in Belleair, Florida, that is valued at more than $7.2 million, and a 3,474-square-foot beachfront home in Clearwater, Florida, valued at more than $2.2 million.

They also have a condominium under construction in Las Vegas.

Bollea, who says in her court documents that her union with Hogan is "irretrievably broken," is also seeking unspecified amounts of alimony and child support and asks that Hogan cover her legal expenses. (View the court documents.)

She asks that the couple's 17-year-old son, Nick, make his primary residence with her but seeks "liberal" visitation rights for Hogan. At 19, daughter Brooke is not subject to child custody arrangements.

Bollea's petition to end her marriage reportedly caught her estranged husband by surprise last week, after he learned about the court filing from a reporter calling for comment.

The semiretired wrestler, whose real name is Terry Bollea, issued a statement to TMZ on Tuesday, asking the public to "respect my family's privacy at this time with all that we have been through."

"I care for my wife, and my children are my world, and I just hope this all works out," Hogan added.

Before the split, the couple was focusing on assisting their son in defending himself against a felony reckless driving charge, stemming from the August crash that left his 22-year-old passenger critically injured.

Recordings of the 911 calls placed immediately following the crash were obtained by the St. Petersburg Times this week, with bystanders describing the aftermath of a "horrible accident."

Several callers reported seeing Nick Hogan's yellow Toyota Supra drag racing another car in the moments before it slammed into a palm tree.

Nick, who was wearing his seatbelt at the time of impact, escaped with relatively minor injuries, including a broken arm and ribs and neck and knee injuries. He was treated and released from the hospital the morning after the accident.

His passenger, John Graziano, was not belted and suffered far more serious injuries, including a broken skull. He has been comatose since the accident, and his parents have declared him incapacitated.

Florida authorities recently stripped Nick of his license for one year, after determining him to be a dangerous driver. In order to avoid losing his license permanently, he must pay a fine for driving 106 mph at the time of his crash.

The part that pisses me off the most is Hulk Hogan telling the media to respect his family's privacy. YOU PUT YOUR FUCKING FAMILY LIFE ON THE AIR FOR ALL TO VIEW!!! We're not going to start giving you privacy now, asshole. Maybe I wouldn't feel this way if they promoted the show so heavily on this whole divorce story. I am glad that Hogan isn't with Linda anymore. I mean, she complained about him wrestling. YOU MARRIED A FUCKING WRESTLER! HE'S GOING TO WRESTLE! Hell, I hate Hogan's whole family. Brooke is a whiny bitch who likes to make her life seem so rough and Nick is an impatient dick. I remember watching an episode when Nick decided to take up wrestling, yet he didn't want to train, he just wanted to jump into it. God, I hate these people! Hulk Hogan, you're still good in my book. Though, obviously, Hogan doesn't know best. And yes, I just wanted to make that horrible pun.

I only watched a few episodes. There was nothing else on TV.

I seen a thing on Yahho where Hulk made a statement to Linda telling her to keep her hands off his money.

Oh and I thought his show was pretty good.

Some episodes weren't bad. It's just his family is so damn annoying.

I feel that Linda should keep her hands off of Hulk's money. He earned it, not her. I hate when women take shit that doesn't belong to them in the first place.
