I remember but ONE scene from a movie...just had one of those partial flashbacks.
One of the main protagonists is being chased/tracked down by a bunch of other guys (I don't know why, but I'm leaning towards thinking they were Nazi, but MAYBE not), and just when they are about to find where he's at, it appears he's vanished, and they keep on moving.
The guy was hiding on top of, or among a pile of dead bodies.
That was the scene. I'd say the film was pre-80's.
Any ideas?

I think I remember him hiding in a pile of bodies. More of a romance/Haloucaust story though.

this happened in both Enemy At The Gates and Behind Enemy Lines, but neither were pre 80's
