It's being directed by David Slade (Hard Candy, 30 Days of Night) so it could be good, but it's being produced by Jim Henson Pictures who are responsible for the less-than-great Mirrormask and Farscape.

I'll be keeping my eye on this one for certain.

Jim Henson was also behind the first BBC Neverwhere.... yikes..


The rest sounds good though and there's still a long time to go. Maybe Gaiman will say "thanks for everything you've done for me in the past, Jim. But i would like my ideas to turn out well on the screen as well, so...... There is the door.." :D
