Classic telekinesis movie name?

Hello all:)

The opening scene of an old classic horror movie that I remember from the 60's or 70's starts with a room full of girls (I think college girls) who reject a boys (or mans) advances. He gets so mad that he starts killing them by moving things in the room (by telekinesis). Things start to fly toward the girls and they die one by one. The next scene is the police finding the bodies, etc, etc.

Does anyone know the name of this movie?

I did a google and the only movie that comes close is "The Power" circa 1968. Could this be the movie I am describing?

That does sound like THE POWER (1968) to me. There's a scene where the villain realizes that one of the people he is testing for ESP actually has it and tries to kill him. He isn't sure which person it is so he tries to kill everyone in the room. A great movie, but unfortunately it's rarely seen since it was never released on video.
