Ok I need advice ..... from a different group of people.
I am leaving my current job, Fri is my last day. I start a great new job next Thurs so luckily I have a 5 day weekend.
Anyway...
Ever since I gave my notice my boss has been a major bitch to me and has tried to give me all this extra work to do before I leave. So in being the nice person I was trying to help her out and get shit done but then all this stuff got complictaed, she didn't help me or train me, etc shit like that ya know. So then she is being a massive bitch talkn shit about me to my coworker and so on. Last week I was pulling my hair out and almost just left and never came back.
Wel the beginning of this week was fine up until today. I have been waiting for her assistance with somethings, waiting and waiting. Then today she comes in asking me why these letters haven't been printed bla bla I told her I sent her an email about it and I haven't had time. So she gets all pissy bla bla.
Everyone I talk to says GO! Fuck her. Thinking about not printing these letters and calling in sick tomor and Fri, the perfect thing is my husband was sick all week so I could have caught right.
I have never just left a job but this is the frickn last straw ya know?
So what do you guys think, stick it out 2 more days or fuck her and have a 7 day vaca instead of only 5????

Stick it out and kiss her ass.
You can still get a bad rep if you choose to tell her to fuck off and leave early.
You should take it as a compliment- she's obviously mad that you're leaving.
It's always hard for a boss to have an employee to leave for another ,BETTER job -it hurts the ego as well as the work load...I mean temps are one thing-training Another person for a position is always a hard transition no matter what the position IS.
Smile at her when she gives you a hard time and say YES MAAM, And all the while fantasize about all the knives you're stabbing into her bitchy face:)

Thanks but I have been trying for the last week and a half. She never trained me so she doesn't have to worry about the position. She is the type that is never here and when she is she just sits in her office blabbing on the phone all day, she doesn't do shit.
I know she is pissed I am leaving but that's her prob she doesn't need to treat me like crap while at the same time trying to get me to do extra work for her ya know. If she was being nice and stuff that wouldn't be a problem BUT she's not. I am just on my last nerve and basically can't stand it anymore.

That's what I do.
Is this week your period of notice?
If so stick it out till Friday.
Let's face it the reason why she's pissing about is because :
1. She has to do the work rather than get some one else to do it.
2. No doubt no one else would employ her.
3. If she hasn't trained you, then thats her problem not yours.
4. On the final day leave, go in say cherrio to your work-mates, be nice and polite and tell how far she can shove it, then walk out.
She can't sack you as youve done the notice. Let here do some work for a change.

You can't get a bad rep so don't listen to anyone who says that. A company can not say anything but good things about you when asked. You can't go out and say oh she was a bitch and oh she did this. They can only say you were a good worker.
I'd say just tell her to fuck herself. You already have a new job.

Kill her with kindness. She's probably bummed that your leaving, so she's acting out. If you have respect for her then stick out the last 2 days. The bitchy attitude will be over soon, and it's off to greener pastures. :cool:

You should consider giving her a big bouquet of flowers! When she doesn't know how to react, then that is the perfect moment to take a big white rat from the pet store and drop it down the front of her blouse. She will be shocked at first but soon she will learn to enjoy the clawing sensations and the soft fluffy feel of the critter crawling inside her clothing. As you leave, place a big box of rat food by the door and tell her the rat needs to be fed three times daily and needs fresh water and special mesquite shavings to play in.

At the place I used to vounteer there was a bitch and she is the reason ALOT of people do not want to work there...in fact I just heard recently, she is the reason they can't get PAID employees there...so yes, a word of mouth reputation in the job market is very real and very damaging.
...And if an employer asks directly what they are like to work with personally-the ex-boss has every right to say their opinion.

You alreday have the new job that you wanted, so the hell to her and leave...yes she upset because you worked hard and she knows she losing a valauble employee...but not show you any respect and talk behind your back to other workers is a swift kick in the nuts...I would tell her to go fuck herself and she can finish up all that work for you.:)

Stick it out for the paycheck, but fuck her while you're at it. Just slip in to "Homer Simpson" mode for the last couple days and be the laziest person there. (What are they gonna do? Fire ya?) Maybe steal some shit on your way out too, just for good measure.

Yeah thats pretty much what I would do. Just sit on your computer and play solitaire the entire time, and make it look like your working, or come and post on the forums. Then on friday when you leave and nothing is down, her boss is gonna be like. What the hell? Haven't you been doing anything at all? because none of the work is done.

I am sticking it out. I have today left, got work to do today then tomorrow I am working a half day and it's over! I will be the professional one here.

Take a nice big box of cream cakes in wih you tomorrow, one each for everyone ELSE in the office, hand 'em out just before you walk out the door, once you're gone the others will be the ones sitting there all smiles with cream around their mouths and she'll be the one red in the face........ payback's a bitch aint it :D
