Help with movie!!

I'm trying to remember this Japanese film I saw (It may not be Japanese, so I don't want to sound completely ignorant). The premise was something along the lines of a boy likes a girl, and watches her get raped, and she eventually kills herself. And the whole thing winds up with her on his shoulders. There is a really intense car scene as well. A friend and I were talking about it, but cannot think of the title.

Any help would be great.
