Hey all!

I'm excited to join the forums here at horror.com and enjoy the fruits of everyone's intellectual natures. I'm Sharkchild, a fellow soul who has always had a little longing towards the dark, and the mystery that it encompasses.

Just the other day I made my attempts at entering the dimension of horror by launching a podcast called The Dark Verse. It is a collection of my strange works, or, more simply, my horror and fantasy short stories. I would love it if everyone here checked it out at www.thedarkverse.com (http://thedarkverse.com) and listened to my first episode and gave me criticism, feedback, etc. If there are any pieces of fiction you would like to divulge upon my tentacle brain, then please go ahead and do so.

Thank you for the warm welcome and I hope many more interactions come to fruition!

Welcome spammer, what other parts of the forum did you infiltrate with you're second post?

I don't quite understand why I would be a spammer when I was introducing myself and sharing my passion for a little dark writing. Is this not a place where I can find the right people to share my work with? Please tell me if I am wrong.

Well I guess you could, but it seems you made a very similar post exploiting you're link in another part of the forum...

It's a bit spammy if you ask me.

I can understand your concern.

They too are concerned

Perhaps, then, I shall acquiescently let them converge upon me and see what comes of it.

I guess the attraction to horror can be divided into somewhat two different categories: one being the ruthless, plain horrific, sometimes cheesy and habitual conglomerate, or, two, the romantic, mysterious, often archaic perception and expression of the unnatural within life---or death---which by no understatement harnesses some of the most intriguing and intellectual minds.

Perhaps the walls of trepidation are beginning to fall. I can feel the hollow warmth of the underglow crawling its way towards me.

And that is relevant to what?

Hi and welcome.

I listened to your podcast "the Unkind Light", pretty good!

You should definitely post a written version over here

Sharkchild

Thank you very much for listening! :D

And yes, perhaps I will post the written version here.

I doubt it, many of us can't read, but feel free to give it a shot. Maybe you should have introduced yourself here in your first post and then posted about your strange, dark, weird, surreal, and horrific works in the appropriate thread. Welcome.

You'll be leaving soon enough, much too smart in a forum where shiny things distract easily.
And I am only speaking for myself.

I mean, I think we just got lucky with Doc Faustus staying on.

Nice avatar BTW
