I have not been yet,I'm a little pissed off that they decided against doing the Grindhouse double bill here like they did in the U.S.I would have gone to that without hesitation.

They did the same here in France, and ended up doing the same in the US, I think. I'm just surprised at how late it's being released over there.

Yeah that sucks there waiting so long to release it.I wonder why things come out so late in other countries than it does here?

Any way I recommend going and seeing even if it is one movie at a time.Cause they where both good films. But I do see where your coming from about seeing them seperatly.I went just casue it was a double feature.

Only Deathproof?.... No Planet Terror?.... No Faux Trailers?

Both came out here in France, albeit, seperately.

But we did get cheated out of the faux trailers (except for the hilarious Machete, which was shown right before Planet Terror).

I hadn't heard that, I went and watched it today, though out of anoyance I went to the morning cheapo session, You should till go, though maybe one day they will show them both together after they have sucked all the money out of the exercise...

Hopefully Planet Terror will come out soon...

At least the Grindhouse Revolution the coolsome duo tried to ignite failed with dignity, since although these films were far too self-conscious, we got to see further examples of exemplary film makers nearing the top of their game in at least the action stakes.

But one can't help but think the only way is down, since Tarantino at least seems trapped in a fanboy vacuum he can't seem to suck his characters out of... unless he calms down enough to do another Jackie Brown, since the hip surprises of Resovoir Dogs and its legacies have long been exhauseted.

Went & imported both on dvd rather than wait for Deathproof to get to UK cinemas. Loved Planet Terror, was a bit disapointed with Deathproof but strangly, enjoyed it more when i watched it again the other night.
