I'm pimping my shit again!

My writing partner and I have a new film going into preproduction. It's a Giallo called...GIALLO (go figure) and yes it's being directed by and Italian and will be filmed in Milan...at least exteriors will be.

So help me out by going to imdb.com and searching "Giallo"

click on it every day...or whenever you like. There will be casting updates shortly as everything is going along swimmingly with this one so far (crosses fingers) and we could use all the positive energy we can get.

Thanks a ton!

I don't know what Giallo means, but ok.

It's a genre of film and also I believe it's the Itallian word for "yellow".

imdb has this silly little popularity contest called the "starmeter" and the number is figured by the nuber of web hits and searches the title receives. And since Hollywood is essentially one big popularity contest, this helps out.

It doesn't help a ton, but it helps.

Correct! The original title was YELLOW.

It is the genre of beautiful women dying horribly at the hands of a masked or all-black-clad killer created by Mario Bava and perfected by the likes of Argento, Martino, Fulci etc.

My partner and I have always loved the Gialli and this movie is our love letter to the genre

yeah, one problem, the only thing that comes up is for one that comes out in 2008, but you need to have IMDB pro to do anything with it.

pro allows you to see who produces the pictures, the box office, contacts, headlines from The Hollywood Reporter, etc. I've had it for years and use it every day. Check out the free trial.

and while you're at it...

I clicked Giallo a couple times and I even threw in a couple Sean Keller's for good measure. ;)

i could write a random, automated click generator, but that may be a little too efficient...

Does IMDB have rules regarding things like that (scripted clicks and so on). If not, it would probably take me 30 minutes to write, and could generate hundreds of clicks. (maybe even thousands)

So every time your page is visited, you get another good point thingy?

that is my understanding

and VOD - no click generator please. I do not need trickery, simply the support of my friends:D

Those things have a nasty habit of biting you in the ass when you least expect it, but I figured i would offer anyway.

I suppose the link in my sig will have to do ;)

Nothing wrong with a little ass-biting

depending on who is doing the biting....of course
